They changed the rules for overnight lending to investment banks and financial firms. It's sort of like shifting from a 30 year fixed loan to an ARM loan. Absolutely. Kinda depends on your plans. Do you want to keep the stock? Do you want it for long term capital gains? Etc. lots of variables. But if you like something and want to hold it forever. Covered calls is a very popular strategy as it’s the gateway drug to options. You basically sell short term low probability options for your 100 shares. This over time pays off your total costs and eventually, this stock is free and Cashflow keeps coming. It’s basically making your own dividends.
