Most of the time when women say (snowflake) they’ve been single for X months, what they mean is they were emotionally single. Bottom line is they had plenty of cock, but they weren’t receiving emotional commitment or support from any of it. That is what being single is. Getting laid doesn't mean you're no longer single.

What is he supposed to do? He's been married for 20 plus years.I imagine alimony after that long has got to be pretty expensive. His kids are out of the house so he's got to be close to retirement. His savings are going to be decimated. If he was young, then I would say go ahead and divorce but it doesn't look like he has a lot of options.
