Tell ya what, one of the coolest things that my younger brother ever told me was "timdo, you really have this sober thing down". I agree that most 19 year olds do manage, until they do not. Obviously what we as a society tried in this broken young man's case did not work and you are not proposing anything new. I am not going to defend the OP because all the OP did was make a post that started a conversation. But when people say things like, "man up" to a 19 year old, that is a problem and this is also something that not just women do.
