False rape accusationTell your parents to take it up with school administration. Don't try to handle this yourself, it will backfire. Schools take parents more seriously than teachers. | /r/MensRights | 11/11/21 07:58 AM
Woman shames man by yelling and swearing at him on public transport for handing her his card.Honestly, I can somewhat sympathize. When I ride public transport, I want to be left alone. Wearing earbuds is a universally understood way of saying "don't talk to me". Asking someone to remove their earbuds so you can compliment and flirt with them isn't really acceptable in my book, regardless of gender. | /r/MensRights | 09/11/21 09:01 AM
Bit of a PSA on Title IXYeah, definitely. I think that more men need to start using title IX too. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/21 05:04 AM
Bit of a PSA on Title IXI'm referring to the phase where the school runs its investigation, before it even goes to the OCR. OCR can be fairly unpredictable. I know they have a reputation for siding with the complainant, but it depends. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 12:49 AM
The Wage Gap is bullshitA global average doesn't mean much. There are countries where women aren't allowed to work at all, or work only in selected professions. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 08:29 AM
The Wage Gap is bullshitWhere does it say "like for like jobs"? | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 08:27 AM
The Wage Gap is bullshitI was just giving you an easy way of expressing it. When someone complains about the wage gap, this is a good response. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 03:31 AM
Bit of a PSA on Title IXYes, absolutely get a lawyer if you have a title IX complaint filed against you. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 03:11 AM
The Wage Gap is bullshitThe key words are "equal pay for equal work". Not "equal pay for any work". | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 03:10 AM
California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas. What's your definition of "liberal"? | /r/MensRights | 13/10/21 01:53 AM
California's new "stealthing" law.Almost all rape cases are he-said she-said. This will be no different. In theory, at least, the defendant is innocent until proven guilty. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:46 AM
California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas. This type of stupid comment is exactly why the men's rights movement is having trouble getting any support. Affiliating ourselves with the alt-right is not going to help anything. Remember when Trump and the GOP changed the tax code so men would have to pay taxes on alimony/child support and women could receive it tax-free? I bet you overlooked that because it doesn't support your "liberals hate men" dogma. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:44 AM
California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas. The problem is that California is broke as well as woke. California's budget had a $75 billion surplus last fiscal year. But don't let facts distract you from Fox News talking points. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:42 AM
| -2 | California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas. No, it benefits society. Just like public schooling benefits society even if you don't have kids. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:41 AM |
| -1 | California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas. The one which gets me is compulsory 'ethnic studies' for high schoolers. Dont understand the need for that. Many people have little to no knowledge of other cultures. This might help rectify that. | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:41 AM |
California: In just two days, governor signs into law free menstrual products for girls, requires stores to have gender neutral areas.Every department store I've ever been to is already in compliance with this law. It's been decades since stores had signs saying "boys' toys" and "girls' toys". | /r/MensRights | 12/10/21 06:39 AM
Thoughts on 50/50 shared custody bills?I said it's not true. | /r/MensRights | 15/09/21 04:34 AM
Women promotions in corporateMy understanding is that European countries often have exceptions to their discrimination laws to allow for "positive discrimination" or whatever they want to call it, so this may be legal where you are. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 10:01 AM
Women promotions in corporateAre you in the US? | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 09:01 AM
Is being in school in your 30's considered "not having your shit together"?I have seen plenty of people go back to school in their 30s and then have very successful careers. Do you have a plan? Do you know what you're going to do with your degree once you graduate? Do you have other parts of your life sorted out, such as housing, car (if needed), etc.? If so, you have your "shit" together and don't need to worry. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:33 AM
Starting to think that men are wrong no matter what they sayDon't worry about this, it's a stupid Facebook chat. Move on with your life. Don't let it live rent-free in your head. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:31 AM
Women promotions in corporate"what under-privileged group do you identify with"? Be creative. Homeless people are definitely an underprivileged group. Maybe you are under the federal poverty line, that's another underprivileged group. First generation college student could be another if it applies to you. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:29 AM
Women promotions in corporateThis is illegal in the US. It happens anyway, but it's less blatant. There are no quotas, but there may be unspoken favoritism. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:28 AM
Thoughts on 50/50 shared custody bills? It's important to realize that these bills establish 50/50 as a default, not as a mandate. The default can be changed if needed. It is not true that these bills would require kids to spend time with abusive fathers, or anything like that. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:27 AM
Boy gropes girl at school. What should the consequences be?No, it's up to the prosecutor. The school has an obligation to report it, but in criminal law, the victim does not make this decision. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:26 AM
This subreddit is heartbreakingThanks for posting. Please keep on speaking out. As a woman, you have far more credibility with society when it comes to gender-based issues than we do. Men are often just viewed as complaining/whining. One woman can have a larger impact than 10 men on a men's rights topic. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/21 08:24 AM
The opinion of Men's Rights Activists regarding a specific issue. It's not controversial if he knowingly lied or misled her. But I think what is more common is that he simply changed his mind for whatever reason. | /r/MensRights | 16/08/21 04:36 AM
Why is there such a stigma against people complimenting each otherI haven't seen this at all. I occasionally compliment people of both genders and have never had any issues. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/21 10:47 AM
Is "hi guys" sexist?I can see why some people may consider it sexist, but I have heard it used as a gender-neutral term and I think most people would treat it as such. Calling it sexist seems incredibly petty. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/21 10:46 AM
The opinion of Men's Rights Activists regarding a specific issue.He did say "often". | /r/MensRights | 15/08/21 10:45 AM
The opinion of Men's Rights Activists regarding a specific issue.especially in a culture like India where woman are unmarriageable after getting banged If that is the case, then women should not have pre-marital sex. | /r/MensRights | 15/08/21 10:43 AM
The opinion of Men's Rights Activists regarding a specific issue.I not think this should be a crime. It is possible that the man actually intended to marry the woman, and then changed his mind for whatever reason. You are allowed to back out of the wedding, right up to the moment that the ceremony starts. If the woman is going to be so bothered by this, then she should wait until after marriage to have sex. Edit: I am curious to know what would happen in case of divorce. If the woman is unmarriageable, does she have any recourse against her ex-husband? | /r/MensRights | 15/08/21 10:42 AM
Advice for Surviving CollegeYou don't have to engage with it. Keep yourself busy with classes and other activities that are not gender-focused. Unless you go out and seek a debate, you're unlikely to find one. | /r/MensRights | 27/07/21 04:55 AM
Ad agency loses sex discrimination lawsuit after firing 5 men to fix their gender pay gapI'm sure other companies will take this as a lesson and make sure they come up with some plausible-sounding reason before doing that next time. | /r/MensRights | 25/07/21 06:53 AM
290,000 people in South Korea sign petition to require that women have the same military obligations as men. President office says we need to ask women if it's OK.Norway is 83.5% Norwegian, 8.5% European, and 8 5% other.. So? What does race have to do with any of this? There's no inherent reason that a more diverse population should mean lower educational outcomes. In fact, in many parts of the US, the minority groups are the biggest academic achievers. Comparing a country of 5m people with that population breakdown to America is ridiculous. Why should population matter? You're just making excuses here. Compare Norway to a single state in the US if you wa… | /r/MensRights | 20/07/21 04:48 AM
290,000 people in South Korea sign petition to require that women have the same military obligations as men. President office says we need to ask women if it's OK.TIL that people in Norway don't have different "background and circumstances". People there are all the same. Diversity is only in America. | /r/MensRights | 19/07/21 05:32 AM
Why do men keep paying for women?I wouldn't call that being "victims". There's nothing wrong with following your primal urges. | /r/MensRights | 18/07/21 06:57 PM
Why do men keep paying for women? If they can afford it and find it worth the cost, I see nothing wrong. It's their money and their choice. | /r/MensRights | 18/07/21 07:20 AM
290,000 people in South Korea sign petition to require that women have the same military obligations as men. President office says we need to ask women if it's OK.Compare educational outcomes in Norway to the US and you will have your answer. | /r/MensRights | 18/07/21 01:06 AM
290,000 people in South Korea sign petition to require that women have the same military obligations as men. President office says we need to ask women if it's OK.Why not? The government is democratically elected and is much more qualified to control the education of your children than some nutjob church or a for-profit business. | /r/MensRights | 17/07/21 07:12 AM
290,000 people in South Korea sign petition to require that women have the same military obligations as men. President office says we need to ask women if it's OK.Why is it ridiculous? It may seem ridiculous to you if you have that American mentality of "freedom" and "small government", but it's working incredibly well for Norway, and producing results far superior to most other countries. | /r/MensRights | 16/07/21 06:45 AM
Men being around kidsThere is nothing "leftist" about this, it's actually a conservative mindset because conservatives promote traditional gender roles that say that women are caretakers and men are financial providers. This type of anti-male thinking is most prevalent in small towns and rural areas that tend to be conservative. In large cities that are more liberal, it is (slightly) more common to see men in childcare and such jobs. | /r/MensRights | 16/07/21 06:43 AM
