Its hard giving up on the dating scene, so you have my compassion. Just know that if you go down that road there are consequences. I write this because most mgtow wouldn't bother to try texting girls these days and since you are, you likely still have some vested interests in pairing up with a woman.

Simple, friend: why put in the effort to maintain a relationship and manage a woman when the cost-benefit ratio is so out of order? There is no peace of mind in a relationship because you constantly need to work via mate-guarding, passing shit tests and keeping a higher status than her. Many mgtow here found peace in their chosen path in life which far exceeds anything that the conventional path of marriage and the bread-winning husband role has to offer. I work as much as I need to and still sp…

Start on YouTube before jumping back here. Two great channels you should make best use of: Colttaine Happy Humble Hermit Sort both by 'most popular' and start learning. Colttaine is excellent in explaining mgtow ideas in a very data-driven and analytical approach. This will be your go to channel for painting a picture of man-woman relations in their most honest form. Happy Humble Hermit is everything else. He is wise, caring, and personable. His content ranges across topics in the mgtow-sphere a…

Our society's whole way of functioning is built off the back of men laboring to produce something in order to impress women. Think of why anyone literally does anything and it's most likely directly or indirectly tied to an attempt of improving social stature which is key in becoming more sexually attractive. By disregarding this pursuit of status, we are by proxy disregarding the manner how society works behind the scenes. This is why this behavior of ours is socially shamed.

The need for stability and support that traditionally stemmed from a relationship with a man is now gone. This need is covered these days either through a woman's self-sufficiency or governmental sponsorship. All that is remains is the need for attractive and socially dominant men.

Thank you for sharing your story. I agree with much of what you said, but disagree with your initial premise. Therapy can be for men if you have the right male therapist. I went through a depressive episode that was pretty bad a few years ago. I was already fairly red-pilled at this point and understood the chief difference between what I'd find seeking healing from a male source (guidance, direction, and problem solving) vs. a female source (empathy). I wanted to get out of my pain and my male …

Japan could work, but you'll need to know the language and the culture intimately whereas in South East Asia its easier to get by as a foreigner. The people will accommodate you well and speak English more often. As for society shaming you, don't sweat it. People are fickle and jealous by nature. You wouldn't be surprised or upset if a dog barks at you as you walk by in front of its fence. It's a part of the dog's nature. Similarly, you shouldn't be surprised or upset when humans see that you ha…

Hide the wealth at all times. Don't talk about it, flash it, or even acknowledge it outside of the company of similar men in your position. This will prevent lots of potential problems from even arising. If you want women like you've described, you'll have to physically leave the West and move to a new country. Ideally, somewhere where the society frowns upon divorce/breakups and women shame each other for their promiscuity. Women care about what their peers think of them and if there's any chan…

Seriously, like everyone else already said, just get escorts. If you find yourself reacting against that idea, THAT exact feeling is the indoctrination from societal programming in effect... you've been conditioned to believe it has to be "special " and that she "loves you for you". It's all lies. None of it is real and sex with a prostitute is no different than any other woman. You've been told different so you'd make a big effort (like working hard to get to the point of earning 6 figures...) …

Yup, he's very wrong on this point and he's blinded by motivated reasoning here to see clearly that he's wrong. I understand why he'd think this way, but I also understand why a dumb racist or feminazi would think the way they would too. I don't think JP would ever admit the facts just because his very world view depends on them not being true.

People believe themselves to be perfectly rational (ourselves included) and ever since humanism took religion's spot as the ideological top dog, we've since imagined ourselves to be free of the same influences that command the behaviors of the literal millions of other species on this planet. In reality, we're only slightly less dumb compared to the birds and the bees and by bringing up this fact or any of its derivatives (sexual behavior among men and women for example) to regular joe or jane, …

I don't think that's quite right, but I understand your point. The 'red pill rage' is a stage (the very first one for any red-piller in fact) so if it ever seems that others downplay it or even dismiss it, it's because there's much more to come. This last point is especially key, because when you're in the rage you don't truly realize how the only person being affected by all that negativity is just yourself. The feeling of anger and resentment will subside as long as you move your focus elsewhere; namely to yourself and your passions. Forgetting about society and how it organizes itself at the lowest common denominator of humanity will be fairly easy. Just stop caring about what doesn't immediately affect you and your own interests for the most part. Sure, the tax-man comes for a chunk of your paycheck which will go to support the gynocracy and its annoying to see "women are highly encouraged to app…

It's not and nor is it the ending point in mgtow. This is the normal progression in personal development among those who took the redpill. There will come a time where you can synthesize your old self's gentle spirit with your new self's radical candor. Once you begin noticing yourself reacting much of the same to people treating you with either respect or disrespect, you'll know you're at that point. Youll be unabashedly yourself.

No problem and thank you for sharing your mind. A nice rule of thumb that has been very helpful to me in understanding the silly behavior we see in the world is to think a lot about how humans are really just slightly less stupid apes. Whenever I do that, a lot of the behaviors we see out there begin to make a lot more sense. From just the context of our convo: Identification with something that is literally skin deep is perfectly understandable within this framework. Shunning individuality in f…

This. I'm not white, but I cringe hard whenever I see this in the media. The propaganda machine acts as if us minorities and women can only ever be fundamentally good people. In the unlikely event that a minority/woman's moral compass is not tuned the right away, these characters MUST have other redeemable quality like being a leader or powerful. The combination of weak/pitiful and cruel is reserved for white men only and it's just ridiculous.

Study psychology. Learn to identify your weaknesses (we all have them). Know that people will exploit your weaknesses if you are not careful. Continue to trust and enjoy the company of people, but don't put too much stock into any relationship or connection. Hope for the best at all times, but always have multiple plans ready for the worst. Things will always go bad at some point so that last tip is required.

Beta Thirst is why the MRA move sadly won't amount to a whole lot. There will always be some Beta a step above being an incel absolutely thrilled with the prospect of spending all their time and money on a woman that is more attractive than them. This sort of enabling behavior keeps the shit-show on the road and prevents any real change from happening. Sure, we don't like the idea of being divorce-raped, but we're few and fair between. I don't think that's an accurate assessment of actual mgtow. What you see is the beginning stages of the mgtow process among men who realize they've been duped for the very first time. They're rightfully upset and use this subreddit to vent and express themselves. This might look like the sum total of mgtow to the uninformed, but that's not the case at all. I resonate with this. Currently, my own ambitions are aligned with what would conventionally be considered desirable behavior from society. But I know once I have my debts paid off and quality savings in place I'm going to pretty much leave my career by the wayside and meditate full time in India, Nepal or Myanmar. Exactly right. Society changed too quickly for biology. Modern people eat until obesity for much of the same reason why women get tingles for violent men. Our genes are running on legacy code written back when food was scarce and the daily course of action was kill or be killed.

I like to understand it from an evolutionary perspective. Hypergamy helped our species survive as women who felt it more were more likely to pick partners that had hard to find qualities, but would lead to healthier or better protected children. These women's children were more likely to survive due to this fact and the girls would most likely grow up to be hypergamous too. Overtime, the hypergamy trait would be overrepresented in the genetic pool due to the success it afforded women and their c…

He's just a tradcon who doesn't see the full way out of the matrix. It seems he doesn't have a grasp on what's happening if he thinks society could go back to a specific point in time and just stay there as if the situation we're in isn't an emergent property of any sufficiently developed civilization.

This point and the parent post's point are pretty stupid tbh. I'm sure overall you have good ideas and I'm not here to attack you, but the jew scapegoat is a tired meme that isn't grounded in reality. Its akin to the intersectionalist's claim of old white men ruining society. Greedy individuals ruin society no matter their gender, ethic makeup, age, etc. Its really that easy. I see your point and I understand what you are saying. But I disagree that life itself is miserable now that we've seen the reality of things. What's miserable is that the illusion we originally bought into has shattered and parts of ourselves still long for it. That's where your pain is coming from. And that's understandable as the deferred life-plan of a wife, 2.5 kids, and a house with the white picket fence at the end of the cul-de-sac has been indoctrinated into our minds as the ultimate go…

I've had female friends throughout my life, but my friends tend to be sourced from my personal interests and I guess I've always either had interests that were male-centric (like playing sports at a competitive level) or focused on the individual (like long meditation retreats) so the number of close female friends I currently have is very limited. These men need compassion first and foremost. As men, we are the disposable sex but that doesn't mean we can't respect or show kindness to other men due to this uncomfortable truth. With hypergamy reaching peak levels, more and more men will fall by the wayside and I don't know if most, some, or any will go mgtow. But if they don't, they will fall into Inceldom where they will be hurting. I'm sorry for these men and I wish that one day they can let go of the caring for female/societal validation…

I think there's something to be said about personal development within the manosphere for those of us who are kind-hearted by nature and I believe it's a cyclical process. We are born with smiles on our faces and a default towards caring and consideration. If you share this disposition, it must have served you well in all arenas in life until you started looking for love. We grow up to understand that despite society's reinforcement, our gentle ways and lack of aggression make us sexually unappe…

Mgtow simply means Men Going Their Own Way. MGTOWs are men who simply decided to stop living to fulfill the wishes of society and instead live for themselves. The deferred life plan that society lays out for all men usually looks like this: school -> work -> promotion -> promotion -> promotion -> retirement -> death This sort of life is done in favor of supporting a wife and/or kid and this traditional path of sacrifice is unappealing to MGTOWs for many reasons. Most predominantly, I'd say this …

I understand that it can feel shallow to hear that being a virgin doesn't really matter when we've been raised to place so much importance on that term. But frankly that really is the truth; it doesn't matter. Even with your intellect recognizing that fact, the deeper feeling may be in disagreement with your mind. First, we need to address the nature of shit tests. The problem with them is that they never stop. You will always be scrutinized, evaluated, judged and ranked. Shit tests are the best means evolution gave women to do this sort of analysis and they are forever given to you as a woman constantly needs to know if she could be doing better due to hypergamy. This is tough to digest for many men, but there isn't some relationship stopwatch where you just have to wait out the time to earn her loyalty …

Spend some time reflecting on those emotions in order to truly understand them and why you're feeling them in the first place. In my experience, serving others and honing one's craft have been fundamental to living a life well lived. It's hard to imagine that on one's deathbed as an old man, one will regret positively changing the lives of those in need or gaining mastery at different things. Meditation has been incredibly helpful as well, but most people don't seem to be interested in it due to the religious connotations and the mental conditioning of always looking out into the world for answers.

You are not alone. For me personally, it's about children. I would love to have my own kids or even adopt. I think I'd make a good father and a stable provider as I've always been great with the rugrats and work in a high-paying field. I disagree with your first claim as that's not the case. In the past few days, there has been a ton of photos titled "Go Your Own Way", or something similar, of scenery from hikes in nature or computer engineering chips for hobbyist pursuits. That's a false equivalence to assume that not caring about society's virtues automatically equates to living for mindless consumption or rolling around in hedonistic pleasures. Sure, some men may choose to do that, but it's within their rights to live life in such a manner if they choose to. Or would you say that people are not allowed to live on their own terms? Women have the babies so they've always been deemed more important. One man and ten women is enough to keep a band of humans alive across generations while the inverse is not true. In a world of limited resources, "altruism" (altruism is in quotes because usually it's feigned with a self-serving motivation hidden underneath it) is mainly reserved for the likes of women because dick is cheap and pussy is expensive. It's one of the most disgusting features of female-kind and it's called Hybristophilia. Women love dark-triad (read; narcissistic, Machiavellian, and psychopathic) qualities in men for their short-term mating strategy. One night we had a small party at her's and we were laying it on to each other pretty thick despite her friend being present. Later in the night, I took her to her room to flirt some more without everyone in the party being around and of course we banged. We had sex some mo…

The odds are stacked against TRP/PUA for sure. I don't have a problem with either lifestyles having spent a lot of time in both, but in the current social climate it is more dangerous than it's ever been before to simply chat up a chick. Rational self-interest/preservation and financial planning are why I'm in monk mode and no longer pursue women like I used to, even though I still participate in the TRP community from time to time. If others choose to continue chase skirts, the more power to em…

Pros: - Finished another round of the Insanity workout. Love how much stronger my core has become in just two months. - Applying to jobs again after a brief hiatus and getting closer to my first gig as a software developer. - NoFap strength is on point as fuck. This can be attributed to my daily meditation practice of equanimity Cons: - Still unemployed. After getting closer to something with the last batch of interviews, I didn't hear back from these damn companies even when I follow up. - Undi…

Tradcons think hypergamy can be fully managed which is wishful thinking, to say the least. They recognize many problems of modern society, but their overall solution is poor. Turning back the dial of history does nothing as it addresses cultural points when many of today's problems are rooted in biology.

100% truth. When you handle your own shit and lead your own life, all else falls into place. OP cares too much about what other people think of him.

Just accumulate life experience. Lots of it. You'll have all the frame you could possibly want through growing as a person. More importantly, you'll also have wisdom.

The worst bit was that he was a genuinely good dude. Well known for his positivity and humor. Sad to see a dude who always smiled get robbed like this.

This is why I won't deal with women. I'm young, close to getting my first job out of school, and have a bright future ahead of me if I work hard for it. Why the hell would I ever jeopardize any of that for women who collectively get the hots for shit men? Find me a woman that doesn't find it attractive when a man puts another 'in his place' and i'll show you a woman that a man imagined. I will not waist my time, energy, and money participating in the dating ritual and in social hierarchy games. …

As many others have already said, the TRP sub is important inasmuch as it is a stepping stone for the most logical application of manosphere knowledge: mgtow. In many ways, that sub is like the teenager equivalent of swallowing the red-pill. He's surely not a clueless child like your poor blue-piller, but he's still under-developed in understanding the risks involved in his actions. I'm far from the only one here who dove deeply into TRP/Pick-Up, did the whole shebang (pun not intended), then sa…

It's a great example of our Gynocentric society's hatred of men acting out their own optimized sexual strategy. And it's a hilarious one too. Female sexual strategy and it's adherents mandate that these men act as high-status providers for female-kind. Of course, as men, the article's SV antagonists are too busy following their genetic programming as they suddenly and surprisingly emerged in a rare position to spread the nut as far as possible. This goes in direct conflict with what the female s…

Loved this! Patriarchy and it's privatized system of marriage was actually pretty brilliant. It harnessed men's collective powers of production, security, creativity, and organization by manipulating the drive for sex. Society advanced so rapidly under it due to every contributing man being guaranteed a woman and her offspring. Grand civilizations were built as a result of our reproductive opportunities being bound so tightly to our productive abilities. But without the guarantee that his effort…

Think of gang warfare over neighborhoods in any inner-city and that's basically how all humans lived up until about 10,000 years ago. Our species has spent the majority of it's existence out in the brutal conditions of nature and you and I are talking only because our ancestors had no problem killing and taking without remorse. It made sense for ancient women to open up their legs for the stone-cold killer because he wouldn't roll over and let the wolves or an enemy tribe kill him without a figh…

No, because society as a whole cannot be sustained with the productive output of just a few "dominant and genetically superior" men (using quotations not to mock you, but to point out that those characteristics mentioned were once very important in antiquity, but not in modern life. These days a fat programming whiz with Autism is far more valuable to society than any tattooed Chad, Thad, Brad, or Conrad who works construction by day and watches MMA by night). What you are describing is the natu…
