Ok ill respond, the downvotes may be a regional thing. Im from the south, here if you cant pay for the first date you dont ask for a first date. And if you try to split it without establishing that your going dutch first, there probably won't be a second date. If I girl likes you, she might pay by the third date, but she may never pay.
