1	Article trying to blame men for women's choices to postpone having kids. Why can't they take responsibility for their own decisions? Wow... this article, this article. There's just so, so much to critique on how absurd what she's saying is (I especially like the way she claims women who delay having kids for career bases reasons are in reality just a myth and a paragraph later simply ignores the statistics that two thirds of women say they delay having kids for, among other reasons, career based reasons). 2	Feminist student's take on the false rape report at my University. It's interesting just how strongly she is advocating for taking away a women's trustworthiness and agency when she says she wasn't raped. Should we apply that same standard when women first make accusations, or when they say anything ever? Should we assume that because some women might be coerced into saying some things that everything they say is more likely than not coerced, and thus a lie? 1	Thanks PZ Myers, but you might want to read what you criticize. Mostly because anger is a drug, and people in general tend to define themselves more by what they are not (using other people as examples) than by what they are. Not that I'm at all innocent of that, clearly, but what it tends to encourage is people finding themselves desperately craving their next hit of anger and they find it by figuring out things the "other side" does that piss them off. I'll be honest, the thing that worries me most about people like Meyers and their obvious hatred and bigotry isn't which cause they are fighting for, it's the fact that many of the people who are fighting against them are the exact same way. Biological females who are women are cis. Biological males who are gay are cis, as are biological females who are gay. Biological males who are women are trans, as are biological women who are men. 7	Why Men Can't Have It All Nice article. I loved the Atlantic article about how women couldn't have it all, but was distressed by the author's cavalier remarks along the lines that only women need to make the hard choices while men do not. 2	If the feminists 'won' this whole gender argument, wouldn't they cause the same imbalance in rights that they're trying to prevent? Unquestionably yes. It's primarily gender roles that cause sexist oppression and so anytime you present one set of "gender specific" attributes as being better than the other, you will necessarily oppress the members of that other gender. So the idea that women just love their kids more, they are more emotionally available naturally (as opposed to due to socialization), etc is just as oppressing as the idea that men are the natural leaders. 3	It's not OK to call a gamer girl a slut. It is, however, acceptable to refer to an entire fanbase of a video game as "Autistic Neckbeards". Misandry at its finest. True about SRS, but the amount of discussion and time it took to get to this point was pretty discouraging. As to be expected with SRS, much of the conversations about whether it was ok to virgin and neckbeard shame devolved fairly quickly into simple and vicious attacks on those groups.
