Hats off to the old boy for trying. He's wiser than you think. But you are wiser yet. Enjoy your freedom

Meanwhile all of the men on the Toronto Maple leafs are going to be crushed and hounded publicly by media all over the world for the next several months....

Single men don't spend much money, hence, you won't see many in advertising. Couples, new parents, they spend the most (as a demographic).

It's been a while since I wanted a Hallmark movie, but I think they are all pretty much the same. Production quality is lower than the B-movies like Sharknado. Scripts that take about 2 hours to write. Actors talk on the phone and drive in cars a lot because that's cheap to shoot.

I agree, this one isn't too bad. Kelly Mcguillis from the first Top Gun is the worse one I've ever seen.

There's a book called Bad Blood if you want to learn more about it. Really really nasty company. Also, her father was one of the Enron people.

That may be true, but it costs the Saudis less than $10 USD to produce a barrel of oil, and their oil patch won't dry up any time soon. Isn't it pretty expensive to drill and produce oil in the oil sands?

You have more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia?

He is correct. 401k contributions don't count against this number. Also I belive it is possible to start your own 401k if you desire, but I'd talk to a financial guy about that. Most of the time maxing out a Roth IRA with cash per year is a good move. After that, if you want to save more, there are other ways.

It's not about how much you make, it's about how much you save. Understand your lifestyle costs with as much detail as you can. The best thing money can buy is not stuff, it's freedom.

The book was ahead of its time. The movie is a great adaption, but read the book man. The book is more hardcore.

Actually I have a retarded neighbor (a worker comes around and helps him/brings groceries once a week) and he cooks for himself most of the time.

Whenever I travel alone I like shorts/pants with zippered pockets. Harder to pickpocket. Criminals sometimes look for lone wolves because they know you don't have someone to call/help you. But as others have mentioned in this thread, you get to do what YOU want to do, eat what YOU want to eat, and move at your own pace. Best of luck and enjoy your journey.

There's a big difference between body building and lifting a few times a week. Lifting a few times a week is a great way to keep your bones and ligaments healthy, making you less prone to injury. And the benfits of cardio are too many to list here. Another rule of moderation.

There's more good advice on here than most other sub-reddits for sure. But there is defiantly a few straight up haters and bitter people that bring a toxic attitude. IMO, you don't have to be bitter and toxic to be mgtow. It's more about accepting the fact that the cards are stacked against males in most western societies, and males need to take steps and educate themselves to deal with it to have a better life experience. Hating on women isn't necessarily part of that. It's more about keeping y…

If you want to have a good convo with a woman, talk to a fat/ugly one. A lot of times, after you can get thru their shell, they are funny and insightful people. The hotties, yea, most of them don't talk because they don't have to...

Stay strong and grow a thick skin bro. A year from now (if they are still together), just remember how much happier your boy was before he got married. Also, if she does give you some nasty looks and words, don't go down to that level. Be nice to her, even if she's not nice to you. In my experience this is the best way to infuriate married people :) Always remember, no matter what they say or whatever passive agressive remarks are made, your not the one that fucked up :) He did by getting marrie…

Nice job taking action and making things better bro. Remember everyone feels lonely sometimes. Remember it is just as lonely or even MORE lonely when your stuck in a house sleeping in a bed with someone who is ignoring you :)
