It’s not resonating with me. I don’t understand the need for enlightened centrist bs here. I’m just 20 minutes in though.

I (younger me) am in this comment and I don’t like it. Read me for filth sheesh. I would have sex just because then either get sad that they ghosted me or be disgusted with myself because I didn’t really find them attractive. And I wanted a relationship, I just didn’t know how to go about doing it, I thought sex would make them interested in me, because that’s obviously the only thing I could offer lol

She is genuinely unhinged, I wouldn’t take much of what she says to heart. Not because she’s wrong, but her attitude is coming from the wrong place.

You guys both sound so alike that at the very beginning I thought Savannah and one of you were the only people talking and wondered what happened to the other person lmao

A 21 year old senior in college…I really didn’t know any better since my previous experiences were hookups, and by then I’d only been on a “date” 2 or 3 times. I was so distraught after because I thought the lovebombing and calling me beautiful meant he really liked me because I hadn’t gotten praise like that from anyone 😔 a whole mess.

Lol I passionately sing “crying on the floor of my bathrooooooooom” every time, not because I relate but because I love the emotion and range she portrays. And isn’t that what singers do, write about their innermost thoughts? I believe she wrote the songs on SOUR at least a year ago, and she said she’s not that girl anymore.

I really like Olivia, SOUR is a great album. But she’s so young. I’m only 25, but I think of myself around that age, I was still a kid, no matter how much I tried not to be. To be fair, Olivia says she’s not the girl on SOUR anymore and that she’s grown since then. I believe she wrote most of those songs over a year or two ago?

I was about to comment that I thought Olivia’s bf was 20, and that 18 and 20 is an okay pairing. But I searched to confirm, and apparently his Forbes bio written in 2017 says he’s 20…so 24/25 now. Disappointing

No men that take you through the aisles of CVS on your first "date". It was weird at the moment, but looking back, I'm mortified. He couldn't definitively pick a place to go, I ended up suggesting Starbucks on a Sunday evening. We get there, it's too crowded. So we end up hanging out outside by the pillars of the shopping plaza. Somehow we get to CVS and he just walks ahead of me while going up and down the aisles of CVS. The "date" ends with us with our backs against the pillar, struggling to c…

The absolute worst. I'm not the best with social skills, but I know not to monologue someone to death. This one guy I went on two date with 3 years ago seemed like an interesting guy. My memory might be a bit faulty, but I distinctly remember feeling bored and struggling to focus during our dinner date. His first message to me on Tinder was an info dump about how modern bananas are genetically modified. I thought it was cute and quirky. Looking back, it wouldn't surprise me if he turned out to b…

It’s not that strange, my dad was nearly 50 when I was born. I turned out okay. It’s his second marriage.

I’ll be honest, I go back and forth on my opinion of FDS, but I’m really happy that you dedicated a whole episode to autism in women. It’s relatively obscure in the real world, most people don’t know or think about it. I was diagnosed last year at 23. I’m not gonna go into my history with dating and sex, you can look on my profile if you want to see, but yeah I basically struggled with sex, boundaries, motivations of men...One thing I do like is FDS’s straight forward approach, setting clear gui…

For my situation, the only time I saw his face was in person, which was a handful of times. And he happened to actually look young too. I didn’t find him attractive, his dick was though, so it was easy to imagine a headless man when I thought about him 😕

The comments on it are scary, young girls and women are saying the age gap doesn't matter and even saying they're also in relationships with older men and it's great. Fuck the daily mail, but this is the only article that tells the story: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9452815/Student-19-met-tennis-coach-boyfriend-48-team-daughter.html

This bothers me in particular because it hits close to home. I was basically groomed by a man 13 years older than me when I was 17. I finally severed ties with him last month and I feel great. We were never in a relationship and it was mostly online since we met on Reddit, but the age gap was absolutely problematic. She's in deep since they're in a relationship, wtf.

I'm sorry that happened, I know the feeling of shame and embarrassment. One of my friends also had a similar experience, she was about to hook up with this guy but he left a shit stain on her sheets so she just noped out of the whole thing. 8 years??? He gotta take that L and move on.

Its all jokes on my side but if the shoe fits. Women can be misguided too. Seems like you’re deep in it, as a men’s rights user. Good luck, maybe one day you’ll understand that feminism isn’t evil.

Okay, that clears up my confusion. Because, like I said, I see some terminology that they use so I wasn't sure what that meant. That is all.

And that's reasonable, there are inherent differences so that makes sense.

Yes, but I mean ideology outside of dating. Like does this sub lean left or right, are there any affiliation with incel or red pill subs, etc.

The whole trans exclusionary thing rubs me the wrong way, that's my only qualm (that I know of). I'm more of a womanist, i.e. a black feminist. But yeah, like I said, I like what I see on this sub, makes me realize that I would've saved myself a lot of anxiety and anguish had I known then what I know now.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
