| 1 | Letting feelings ariseThe thing with every woman i have ever had feelings for is. She made me feel there is a part of me that i want to get back again. Lust was secondary. Just to clarify: So you would say the key is to keep your expectations in check with their nature at all times? | /r/askTRP | 21/02/16 11:58 AM |
| 1 | Letting feelings ariseYou are right, i am anxious about really liking certain girls. Failure is ok, i can deal with failure, in the past i've pushed for failure so that i can at least get over it. Or i have also pushed them away even though it hurts like hell, just so that i could be grounded again. And i have realised this pattern has caused me more pain and wasted moments than just being genuine to myself. I'll work with "it's ok to like her" and finding a balance between expectations and honest action. Thanks | /r/askTRP | 21/02/16 11:52 AM |
| 1 | Letting feelings ariseThat's the thing, i want to know if you are always able to avoid developing feelings. There are very select occasions when you are just more emotionally invested from the beginning and thus find yourself fighting an uphill battle. This is of course very manageable with self control and all the training one has hopefully been doing. However, are we able to avoid it? Do we have the ability to just kill these feelings when we already let them develop? Does it make sense from a personal growth point… | /r/askTRP | 21/02/16 11:11 AM |
