I never said you couldn’t speak about male circumcision, but you also didn’t say in your post that you compared circumcision as the “less severe option”, you just compared them equally, that’s the issue! 0	Feminist Hypocrisy I agree that circumcision is also wrong and that those points made about appearance are unfair but I was not addressing that. To compare the two procedures directly fundamentally misses the point of what they both mean/symbolise. Removing all sexual pleasure by removing/damaging the clitoris, which is what the majority of FGM involves, is not the same as damaging a small section of the tip of the penis.
