This assumes that every kid has the same capabilities, this is a fallacy. Some kids will outperform other kids no matter the circumstances. Same start, same opportunity, different outcome. No matter who teaches me, or how hard I try, I was never going to be a star basketball player, I just wasnt built for it.

Man, I used to work in federal grants, and white men are the only group who NEVER get scholarships, because in no case are they considered a "special population". It's only fair when it's you who gets the handout. Such BS.

Since the baby survived, she will likely get a much lesser sentence. I honestly don't know how the previous offense will play in, but attempted murder (1st) is usually about 10 years.

I would give her a minimum 10 years for this. And as a tax payer, I would gladly pay for it. She gets no sympathy or empathy from me. Disgusting.
