Sorry for the long response: I wasn’t a rpw growing up, I had a very liberal outlook and didn’t ever think about wanting marriage. I always wanted to be a mother but never put thought into being a wife, so I didn’t really take dating seriously. After grad school I finally had more time to invest in dating and was unexpectedly blessed to find my now-husband. I’m still amazed by how patient he was with me because I honestly didn’t even know what I wanted in a relationship much less a spouse. He he…

Somewhat, so I was diagnosed with moderate gastritis and it severely impacted what I could/could not eat and when I could eat. I basically subsisted on wheat bread and occasionally peanut butter for that period of time. I still worked out but only did strength training bc cardio was too much movement for my abdominal area so I lost a lot of weight. After about 2 years I was able expand my diet to almost normal and that’s about when I got married and started to put on “happy weight” again. I’m al…

Agreed. And yes it will. Source: I lost 70 lbs at the age of 27 due to illness within a span of 4 months and had saggy, loose skin.

Speaking from experience, I agree that it’s better to be truthful about your background and that most high quality men will be interested and want to know more if you’re educated or have a career. Starting out truthfully allows any relationship to grow (professional or personal) and also helps conversations to develop. From my experience, it’s more of how the woman presents herself when talking about those qualities. When I first met my husband he pointed out when I would subconsciously act extr…

I was in your same relationship situation about 10 years ago and didn’t start dating until a few years after I finished grad school at the age of 23. Even then it didn’t happen immediately until I really started to invest in my appearance by losing weight, taking care of what I wore, etc. I did eventually meet my husband at a local church and he even expressed that my personality was entitled and aloof sometimes. Although I am happily married and I really appreciate the opportunity I had to comp…

Agree with this wholeheartedly, my husband uses it on his eczema and I use it on my sensitive skin. They also have a gentle wash that you don’t even need water for, simply rub it on and pat dry it off.

I don’t recommend going longer than 3 months in the freezer. My husband is from New Mexico so he’s quite happy with ground beef sautéed with green chili and potatoes. I always make a large amount so I can portion away some for later.

Always keep a quick stand by meal on hand in case you have unexpected company or are unexpectedly short on time to cook. I always have ground beef in the fridge and tortillas to make quick tacos.

As of right now we set aside that money from our budget every month and monitor it through the use of PayPal or a credit card. Those cards are used exclusively for our allowance and get paid off every month (from our budgeted allowance in our account) so we both can be responsible for our spending while at the same time building up our credit.

My husband and I would actually flip flop over who had more anxiety over finances (especially because we were only living off of 1 income for awhile). We finally came to an agreement that an allowance was necessary for both of our peace of minds. We each get $100 a month to free spend -no questions asked. We each can choose what to do with it, save it, spend it, go out with friends, whatever. The rules are that I cannot dictate how he spends his amount nor can he for mine and we can’t nag each o…

I used to feel the same way, so when I got married to a man who likes things tidy I realized I didn’t know my “grown up style”. What helped me was to create a Pinterest account with categories set up for each room in the house and I went crazy pinning ideas. Each pin that appealed to me I would ask myself ‘where in the house would I like it?’ After awhile when I’d look at each room board I realized I had patterns and similarities to direct my decorating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
