Thank you everyone for your suggestions!!! He isn't into tattoos at all and I think he would want a ring for himself but I'm leaning towards a tattoo ring. If things didn't work out there is always tattoo removal, even if it's painful a divorce would be too so LOL.

I'm very curious if there is anyone else out there that is a HVW and has high standards for relationships and marriage... But does not want a ring. This isn't a pickmeisha stance, I truly have an abhorrence for wearing jewelry on my fingers and wrists. I also do landscaping and gardening for a living and would need to constantly remove it. I've been thinking on this for awhile and what alternatives there are for me. A tattoo on my ring finger? He gets me a ring but just don't wear it? Be gentle …

That was only an observation I personally made and not an excuse they use. At the end of the day genital mutilation is wrong.

I watched the whole thing and loved the affirmations you spoke about valuing and putting yourself first. Thank you for sharing this and you have a lot of wisdom when it comes to making a marriage work.

I so hear you, I'm an A type too and I'm unlearning that! Relaxing and not freaking out, thinking that if I'm not constantly nurturing the relationship, it will fall apart has been a total game changer.

so happy this helped you 💜 I've destroyed my sense of self worth with anxious attachment in relationships and it has taken years of therapy to undo that damage. I can finally say I feel good about who I am in love and that I don't have to lose myself to successfully be in a healthy relationship.

I notice that the LV moments of a HVM are never ever about hurting or manipulating you, they are often just carelessness or forgetfulness. Some simple communication and things are good 💜 HVM never aim to hurt!

It's amazing how letting go of the need for validation actually creates more room for real intimacy that is based in enjoying each other rather than need to fill an emotional void! Healthy detachment has reunited me with myself 🥰

It's a good question! The point here is to just not turn to him as your primary source of entertainment and emotional fulfillment. Not saying you can't have fun with your partner, this is help guide you towards activities (high or low energy doesn't matter) that make you feel good. Just curious, what activities are you unable to partake in that quarantine has affected, and would otherwise keep you occupied?

For someone who has a history of anxious attachment style and codependency, these help keep me calm and focused on myself rather than stressing about the relationship. This is for those who struggle with being needy and want to learn how to pull back and relax. Like I said, this won't work for everyone. I still call/text when I feel like it btw! I just know because of past trauma, I have a tendency to go overboard and worry if I don't make self care a daily practice. Take it or leave it right?

Omg send him away rofl I imagine him spending more money on his ironman boots than on a date. He sees himself as the prize so the girl must always pay to prove her worth

I seriously value my friendships, no crazy expectations, pure love, good boundaries. Friends are so much easier to maintain and less stress.

Personally I love playing online games, everything in moderation right? Doing it with other women and working towards a goal is so fulfilling! I love having beach fires with a close friend of mine, we sing, howl, laugh. Connecting with other women in nature makes me so happy 😀 I've only sculpted once at a retreat and I loved it, thanks for reminding me this hobby exists haha

Life is definitely more dull without a true passion, and it's so true even if someone doesn't know yet what they love it will come with time :) thank you!

"Being part of something bigger than myself" yes I so feel this. I was part of a volunteer fire department for 3 years and something about helping/being of service to community fulfilled me in ways I never knew. How have you been keeping up with the group's during quarantine? Able to still get together outdoors and keep the group together or are things on hold?

This is amazing! I used to do Muay Thai but ended up moving and got into other things. I so agree about bringing emotional chaos and turning it into calm and discipline. Thank you for sharing, this is so encouraging!

Men say this when they don't want to take responsibility for what they said or did that is provoking a reaction. Deflection 101

Exactly, it's like we are trained as women to turn the weapon on ourselves before they can. Took awhile to train myself out of that!

Saturn Return occurs for everyone from the ages 27-29, it lines up with the period of life that marks a maturation and stepping into the next stage of adulthood. Like a rite of passage!

As a professional astrologer myself, I agree with this ! You're in a huge transition being in your Saturn Return! It actually started when you turned 27, you're on the tail end of it I bet. Big lessons. Feel free to post your birth data (date, time and city, country). I'm happy to take a quick look and see what is going on for you right now 💜✨

As an anxious attachment style myself I can confirm so much of the advice here about having your own fulfillment and not going to him about all your emotions on the situation. To add to the already great insight here, if you do create distance from him try to genuinely do it from a space of being too busy to bother. Not out of being so hurt about his neglect but because you are interested in and focused on the parts of your life that don't involve him. If the distance we create is meant to punis…

True too, I think she just decided to have fun with it. I know she ignores a lot of them. We were just all laughing at how tactless he is.
