Overall China has many more males than females alive and global world results are that overall there are more man than women alive. China is really the outlier here. This is because at birth, the human genome is more likely to result in XX than XY. In fact, for every man there are somewhere between 5-7 women. Wrong. Sex ratio at birth is usually around 1.05 males for 1 female, pretty much always more males.
