Thanks for the in-depth write up. I did look the car over myself and got a second opinion, not from the seller. I mechanically inclined, and do plan to do the repairs myself. quick update: The tires are balding, not bald yet. I am already looking at new tires. The car is on temp tags, and I am currently taking back roads to Uni and back, approx. 15 miles each way, keeping her under 35 because of the tires. Yhea, you know you're right. I just spent like 30 minutes vacuuming the interior from the prior owners. It feels a lot better to sit in now. In a few hundred miles I will probably buy tires though, so they are all at least the same make and model/wear pattern, all are close to bald though. Can't complain for the money though, it does function.

For the money, it is an ISO6425 certified diver's watch. I don't worry about it, If I do something that can harm it, I should be more worried about my hand. It is large and legible and fits my wrist. It's a piece of history, Seiko has made diver's watches since the 62MAS in 1965. It's amazingly simple, yet very robust.
