Why wouldn't OP just have the balls to straight up ask the girl? Seems pretty weak to ghost an ltr for no particular reason; no texts, emails, nothing but somebody's Facebook page. The phone was clean and most people just aren't that careful. Be a man next time OP -- at least have the courage to find out. Roughly the same age as OP here; much of what he says is true. For me, however, the max age difference for a workable, relatable relationship is 15 years. I had no problem sleeping with girls in their 20s, but for full time dating or more found it wasn't desirable.
