Most beauticians are not licensed to use a strait razor or don’t have the equipment to take it to the skin. Also, why would I go and wait forever just to 10 mins to get the side of my hair cut. I have the side of my head shaved to the skin bc of a sick tattoo I have. I go to barbers bc the majority are walk in and it’s quicker and cheaper than having to make an apt with a stylist who most likely doesn’t even have the equipment to shave my head to the skin.
