I mean depending on the amount of damage done to it, replacing it might make sense. It's the three times part that bothers me. Granted, I've worked almost exclusively on trucks and tractors, so I'm not an expert on bikes, but three new carbs in 5 months sounds like she's doing something very wrong

For real. I don't think there's any kind of context that could make me feel like the result was unjustified. I'm just curious what led to her repeatedly telling him to do it, and what it is

The Planet Fitness my ex went to had pizza and donut days along with other stuff. There was only one day a week where they didn't have junk food available for the people working out. And everyone ate that shit up. But at least it was a judgement free zone

And that brings up a good topic of debate. Is it the norm because of historic hiring practices and sexism? Or is it the norm because women actually are less useful in most job environments? Maybe it's a little bit of both. I honestly don't know

It's 2018. I should be allowed to argue however I want /s

I'd argue that rape might be a stretch. Maybe some form of theft instead? She should absolutely be in jail though

It looks like people are walking around the protestors. So even if she was trying to catch a train, at least part of her intention seems to have been to stir up some shit

Maybe this is why I struggle in math class sometimes. I don't actually know what numbers are greater than others

I agree. We should always believe the victim. And the most important thing is that we are totally sure who is the victim

You could argue that. You can argue anything. Still doesn't excuse her behavior

I don't think anyone wants to marry a bitch, no matter what color her skin is

Had this talk with one of my roommates. According to him, it's partially because they're part of the first generation to really grow up without segregation and being able to be equal but they still had the stories about being unequal. He's more than a little bit pissed off about it because a segment of the African American population makes all of them look bad

Maybe. My impression was more that he was just reacting to a new variable and was a little bit overwhelmed. I don't know if he had time to register that it was a girl who got pushed down. If he did realize it, then it's definitely possible that white knighting was part of his motivation

The other guys weren't the ones that threw her down though. I may be reading it wrong, but I personally have no issue with the way Thor handled it. It looked like he was already trying to keep white shirt and cop guy separate, and then had a third person step into the equation that he also felt he needed to keep white shirt away from. So to me it looked like he was just trying to get white shirt as clear of the situation as he realistically could while he was handling a new problem. And even if …

I don't think it's white knighting with the way she hit the ground. Concussions are a bitch, and generally it's a bad idea to let the person who just threw someone to the ground stand over them. So pushing white shirt away and then checking on the person on the ground who might have a concussion is just being a good person

The guy dressed like Thor looked like he was just trying to separate the guy from the girl and check on the person who had just been thrown to the ground. I think that's understandable from any gender. Concussions aren't something to fuck around with. I've had a couple and they aren't fun. But the cop guy overreacted Edit: unless they were fighting beforehand and Thor was trying to separate them. If that's the case, then cop guy might not have even cared who the guy in white hit. I don't know an…

My girl dyes her hair different colors and she's been pretty close to that red before. I thought it looked good on her. Don't really know why she does it. She just likes the mermaid hair color look

That last part is too real. There's been multiple times where cops have stopped me and one of my roommates because "they fit the description" and didn't believe a word of their alibi until I confirmed it. And they don't even ask questions when I confirm it. Like fuck, if the description is "tall African American male" why are you stopping a guy who is shorter than me? I'm 5'8". And why the fuck do you not believe a word he says and then don't even ask questions once I get involved?

I personally have no problem with paying for dates. I'm not broke, and I'm not that short on income. But it still pisses me off when someone expects it every time. Like you have a job. You have income. You can occasionally pay for your own food

Yeah. That's what kinda threw me off too. And even then, I'm not entirely sure if I'm actually seeing white or if it's the potato quality video

People shouldn't even respect one gender more than the other. Just respect people in general. I don't know what that guy was talking about

Jesus... you're an idiot. Yes, I've actually seen people hit women with a closed fist. And they stayed upright. And you realize a lot of guys can't stay upright during bare knuckle boxing as well right? Your example doesn't even support what you're trying to argue Edit: never mind. If you're not trolling you actually are an idiot

Yes. I've seen plenty of women stay standing after getting hit. It's almost like they're people too

To paraphrase The Punisher again You can get used to pain... you can adjust to it. You can adjust to pretty much anything, just as long as there's routine, right? Routine. Human mind it craves it. Needs it. But if you take that away, then that's when you start to lose your shit

It was spectacular. I enjoyed it more than Daredevil, but the Punisher is also my favorite comic book character

To paraphrase The Punisher tv show People think that torture is pain. It's not pain. It's time. It's time to slowly realize that your life, it's over... now all you got is the nightmare

In the US it depends on the department. Usually they end up factoring in a lot of different variables, including the number of available officers, the experience and records of the officers in question, and the relative intensity of the area they'll be working in

Shhhhh... they don't want to accept the possibility that maybe they're the problem. Obviously the store is trying to make people insecure about themselves

You realize that's less than 20 years after we became a country right? And I'm not 100% sure on this but if I remember correctly the patent office didn't exist until 1790. Also... your example of why the Greeks wouldn't have allowed women to be scientists is that women couldn't hold a patent in the US? Bad example
