This! This applies to life in general, not just women. I tend to struggle with being lazy and pushing things back for days. But there's one thing I realized this year from my dad that really inspired me. I noticed that he IMMEDIATELY took action whenever something needed to be solved. I started applying this mentality and besides being refreshing, it has really changed my attitude towards every day life.

Well I don't think she really meant that I was an asshole - she just wanted my attention again.

I think it boils down to this: you want what you can't have. This applies to anything - that coveted job, that toy your parents wouldn't buy you as a child, that millionaire lifestyle.

This is what I really don't get about girls. I once invited a girl to a party and once there, she was really cold and acted like she wasn't interested in me. She even made the comment "I'll be your wingwoman tonight", which for me was a pretty clear sign that she wasn't interested. So I took her up on the offer. When I started hitting it off with this one girl, she called me an asshole and walked away. Luckily I eventually I picked up on the jealousy and ended up making out with her. #womenlogic

FUCK I wish I had read this like 3 days ago, I lost a girl because of the exact things that are pointed out here: Made out on second date, she invited me on a third 'date' with her to go clubbing (this was the third day in a row I had seen her, after recently meeting her). I said yes, and surprise, she got bored and acted cold the whole night. I kept asking her when she wanted to meet again instead of waiting for her to initiate the contact - I was predictable and she got bored. :(

Yes, that is definitely true. I handled the rejection very badly; for example I should have supported her reasoning and behaved confidently. I caved and just left the place after she told me that.... :/

Thank you for this. I realize I am insecure when I like a girl and want concrete validations that may scare girls away. I hope my awareness to this will help me eliminate my insecurity.

The hardest part for me is going in with NO expectations. The thoughts just come to me. I guess one way would be to keep me busy and keep me from thinking about the encounter.

I envy your ability to control your emotions! Yes I started reading that recently, very helpful book - it was funny because a lot of what he described I had experienced the exact situations a few days ago!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
