If anyone was born male and spent years producing testosterone, that isn't just automatically undone if you start taking HRT. Maybe that's her point. That the business wanted a young, attractive girl to do that, and now that she's old and "washed up," they've moved on to a younger girl to take her place. I mean, it's a bad point and discards the fact that she had a really lucrative career for 25 years or so, but a lot of actresses argue that this is the case too... also forgetting that men go through the same.

You probably think that, but if it had actually happened to you, you would more than likely look at it differently now. I had crushes on my teachers when I was that age and thought about how awesome it would be to have sex with them. One of them actually flirted with me and made lewd comments which I thought were awesome at the time, but looking back at it almost 20 years later, it makes me sick to my stomach that someone in that position would even say things like that to a child.

Not to be debbie downer, but my dad had this same issue with my mother and went for an adjustment and was denied. The judge literally told him to "work harder and make more money so he could provide for his family" even though he had custody of both me and my sister. He wasn't the only one I knew either. Good luck. Some judges just don't care.

Technically, but it's a law enforcement database, and you only get on it if they press charges for filing a false police report and you plead guilty or are found guilty. I know personal anecdotes are a logical/statistical fallacy, but when I was in my early 20s, I was a paid music reviewer for a pretty well known site. There were a number of female reviewers on staff and I noticed that they gave absolutely glowing/raving reviews to everything they were assigned, whereas the male reviewers were much more critical and likely to give negative ratings. I wonder if there's anything to that.

I don't disagree with you on your point that feminists often inflate rape statistics (the whole 1 in 4 thing), but you using that graph to say it's 1,000 times less is misleading because the UCR only accounts for reported rapes. The NCVS is a much better barometer of rape statistics because a very large percentage of rapes go unreported for various reasons.

That's not how contract law works. They could claim they signed under duress, that what happened was not part of the contract, that the other party did something to violate their end of the contract, etc. Plus, if they're a minor, the contract is almost always automatically void anyway.

That isn't the point. The point is that there is a legal double standard going on where, regardless of consent, a female perpetrator is given less punishment than a male would if the roles were reversed. Either make it ok for 15 year olds (boys and girls) to consent to sex with an adult or don't, but just make sure the punishments are equal across the board. As it stands right now, it's sending a horrible message.
