Sounds like he was a STFU kind of guy, buy didn't reinforce the stoicness and football derived smv with feelz and tinglez (boundaries, oi, dgaf and consequences and romance). when you don't show you have boundaries on small matters life will often throw a big fucking shit test at you to see what you will do ... he survived going to prison, but ended his career.

Started reading the original Ian Flemings(James Bond - my father used to like these classy RP novels and had them lying in an old box) and then devoured the whole series. A year later I read Godfather and while all of it seemed ultrathuggish there were good frame control lessons in there. Unfortunately for me, everything else around me was very BP, and these occasional glimpses of RP used to give me a sense of freedom. Now after many years i know why.
