Most people have shitty situational awareness I feel like. Most people think "oh nothing bad will ever happen to me like that" mainly cuz nothing bad like this has happened to them or people around them..unless you grow up were you are used to keeping your head on a swivel

At 6'1 and 175 you should be eating around 3000+ calories, that's your mistake right there lol. Google tdee calculator or even MyFitnessPal has a tdee calculator and a good food tracker. Make sure your getting enough protien complex carbs and good fats. With your sleep in order if you eat enough you'll start seeing more results

Drinking away your pain isn't the best option, as I'm sure you know. It does get better. You feeling alone is because you are on your own. Is that a bad thing? It can be if you let it, it can also be a great thing. Getting out of this depression is gonna take work and it might take some professional help. But it will be you who seeks that help. Suicide feels like the only way out but trust me it's not. You might have to swollow your pride and talk to a professional. I did and it was the only thi…

It all depends on the person and how they live. I think for the most part this is really true and I hope my thirties are still like my 20's. I'm 28 with a three year old and I'm living more like a mid to late 30s.. my social life has sucked but it's something I plan to work on when my son gets a little older, so I'm really banking on my 30s to be better the my late 20s lol

I'm no expert to take what I say with a grain of salt. I would progress slower. Most people are in the gym to workout and not be hit on. Take that into consideration. I would just start by making small talk..and not a lot of it. Get her name when you can and let it progress from there. If she's interested she will want to talk. And it'll will naturally progress and you can slip in the "hey let's grab coffee sometime". But for me its always best to not "hump where you pump" (I love that line). Ju…

I think the difference, for anyone a man or a woman.. is if you realize your damaged you either have to figure out how to fix yourself, or find some help to fix yourself. Don't blame other people for your problems. Noone is going to put in the work to fix you except you. You might not know how to do it, but therapists do. Life's to short to be bitter, if your not happy and still bitter about someone, they don't give a fuck. dont let the thought of them control your emotions, move the fuck on. Ea…

Cognative behavior therapy is what helped me get through depression in the past, and the tools I learn from the therapist has helped me get through it again..its an effective way to shape your mind, and I think a lot of stuff in the side bar can be used with cognitive behavioral therapy to really internalize it. There's a lot of stuff on trp I don't exactly agree with, some stuff I don't want to agree with but I know I have to, but actively trying to change how my brain thinks is big part of cha…

Also, I have trouble with part of #5 lifting is my only hobby at the moment. I'm in school and work a ton, when I'm not at those three places I'm with my son. So I'm just going to wait until he's a little older which would give me some more independence for more hobbies all while I'll be in my early thirties and still in good shape. My sons more important to me then women right now, so I'll just learn all I can in the next five years and practice cold approaches in the mean time.

Everyone saying eating less isn't the answer to Losing weight, aside from actual medical conditions, needs to Google tdee and tdee calculator, and cico. The more calories you eat the more you have to burn off. If you don't burn them off then they get stored as fat. It's pretty simple. If you aren't losing weight while working out and watching the quality of food, then you need to eat less. You can't out train a shitty diet

The new Chuck's have a better sole and a inside liner that's supposed to be softer then the canvas the old ones have.. I'm about to go buy some and try them out. They still have the old look but are more comfy. Maybe try those if you still want to wear chucks

Most girls my age run when I tell them I have a kid and that I have him most the time..girls with kids are interested in me but I'm not interested in them for the most part.I live in a college town so most the girls my age are wanting someone who can live their lifestyle.

I always approach customers and ask how they are doing how can I help them etc. Whether it be a cute girl or random people, It's just customer service in my eyes but it has helped me get over being scared to talk to other people out of work and its a good stepping stone. I agree don't shit where you eat but If you have problems talking to girls get over that first then try to approach girls out side of work

I'm 5'8 and around 170...I started getting compliments when I was around 160 so I think your about right..I really wanna be 185 and around the same body fat but we will see how it goes...the good thing is since youre so skinny when you put on a little weight/muscle it will show..I started out around 145 when i started lifting so just eat a fuck ton and lift and in no time you will see results and in about 3 months other people will see them and you will be hooked

Really it doesn't matter about weight..its more about confidence, gaining muscle and looking better in clothes makes me confident..I can wear one outfit that doesn't really show of what I have and not feel confident at all..but if I wear a tight shirt and the right pants it's fucking game on..focus on how you look and how you want to look, get there and then kick some ass

I'm about 5'8 I weigh about 170 and probably 15% to 20% body fat but maybe on the lower end of that.. I get complimented fairly often and randomly asked about how often I lift, what gym I go to etc... Maybe its because I was skinny before and now it shows more I don't know.. But I'd say any where from 160 up would be a decent weight

I think you care too much about what others think of you and not enough of what you think about yourself..lifting will help with confidence and that might be temporary for some people but it can be permanent for others when you look i n the mirror you will see how hard you have work for the body you have.. Focus on yourself and improving and you will find confidence.. Don't give a fuck what others think they don't matter..improve yourself and you will be happier just with you...you have to be ha…

this is why im glad i found this sub..and i thinj it all stems to dont give a fuck.. the person who cares the least in a relationship has the most control. if you have control and dont give a fuck then you dont need to be controling.
