2	Why female circumcision and male circumcision aren't equivalent, and presenting as such makes us look like knee jerk feminists Shafi'i Islam regards "a slight trimming of the clitoris (khafad)" as mandatory "to increase sexual pleasure." WHO FGM Type Ia (removal of the clitorial hood) and IIa (inner labia) don't touch the clitoris at all. Such cutting is even used as part of voluntary labiaplasty. IV needn't do more than the drawing of a drop of blood, either. 2	I know /r/MensRights is generally against circumcision, but there is evidence to support that the benefits outweigh the negatives. See Cultural Bias in AAP’s 2012 Technical Report and Policy Statement on Male Circumcision, co-authored by three dozen of Europe's most renown specialists (plus one from Canada and Australia), as preview here.
