My advice to you would be instead of thinking about been seen as a ladies' man, think of being seen as your own man. I find that getting to know someone isn't something that should be addressed. The whole 'tell me about yourself' gag seems so awkward and forced. If you just act like you've been friends for years and be yourself, things will be lighter, more fun and easier to actually get to know someone.
