I think it's used as an exclamation or something similar - like "Oh man!" or "Boy, that sucks". | 8 | The proper reaction? Why is this acceptable?It's funny, not because it's woman v man, but because of the situation. A sheltered, clueless youth trying to figure out what to do with a worldly wise theif. The roles have been reversed, and both characters are trying to figure out how to play the field. The genders are only part of the picture. It would still be pretty funny if the genders were reversed, because the situation/personalities would remain. Also, it is Tom and Jerry.
