The term "Men" and the term "Rapist" are not synonyms. You don't need to be male to rape, and to rape you don't need to be a male . May I suggest a different approach? There are historical reasons for earrings to be worn by both genders. Some are superstitions, some are holistic, and some are "True Story" worthy. Your argument - "All men are pigs and rapists" Her experience says otherwise but you dismiss it because it doesn't meet your agenda. If reversed: “All men are good guys" You would argue an exception to that rule to debase it. You can't have it both ways. Defining with absolutes works absolutely none of the time.
