I agree, but I'd like to just point out that liberal =/= socialist. Americans often mash socialism and social democrats and anything even a bit on the left in one big lump. For example I might consider myself a social democrat but no way in hell am I socialist. I support capitalist economy but the key is to have regulations to go with it so corporations cannot fuck people in the ass with impunity, and it works pretty well here in Finland.

Not defending child molesters in any way but pedophilia is not a crime or an offence, it is an sexual orientation or rather sexual interest in children.
