As a female, I’ve taken a DUI class before too and noticed the same thing. Recently I read somewhere that men will typically fall in love after 3 dates while it’s closer to 14 dates on average for women reciprocate the same emotional love. In my experience I do see the men im with falling and getting emotionally attracted to me after a few dates, where I feel the mutual emotional attraction/attachment after way more than 3 dates. My little brothers on the autism/aspie spectrum and he found the love of his life, and he’s engaged now. Like out of nowhere went from not interested in dating anyone at all (were less than a year apart and ive had the same “ew no” about dating for the past year or two too 😂) my brother has pissed off everyone in the family with some of his social behaviors etc. And my brothers and his gf really complement each other well. I see what you’re saying, I know it’s tough out there on both sides, especially for men—I can’t imagine facing rejection after rejection and then some one saying “cheer up, kid” really isn’t going to work.
