I have health conditions and discovered them while pregnant. I went from 135lbs to 230lbs when i gave birth. Now 2.5 years later, I'm down to 155 lbs. During this 2 years of weightloss while battling my health conditions and a colicky baby, i was so stressed about being bigger. 6 months ago, he just told me he thought I was too small at 135. (I am a size s/xs at that weight) I'm a size m at 155. I think I wouldn't intentionally gain weight because the baby will do it for you. However, i think mo…

Childfree subs are full of pet owners complaining about parents. This is actually the first time I have ever heard of a parent complaining about someone who only wants pets. I have two dogs and am pregnant now. People thought I was a pet only person and no one said anything to me. Not sure why single motherhood is something to brag about, mind explaining more please? Ultimately I agree with you, I'm happy for people for whatever they choose in life and I hope they are happy too.

I also got banned from there for encouraging someone who felt insecure about their husband finding them attractive. The bot said that this sub encourages harassment of the sub. This sub is literally the opposite of what they think

I look at it this way. Finding someone else physically attractive is drastically different from desiring them. That cake at the bakery may be beautifully decorated but the other cake is your favorite because your grandmother made it. You would choose your grandmother's cake every time. (I hope that makes sense) Edit to add: I'm currently pregnant. I feel fat and sloppy. My skin has broken out on my face and back. Yet, my husband desires no one else right now because he loves me and his baby insi…

This is very true! I also have adhd and anxiety. I've honestly, never worked 40 hours a week consistently. My husband handles everything, and I care for the house. I go to school currently because I need to work to be happy, so I'm hoping for a decent part-time career. Work on being a fabulous and empathic partner and awesome homemaker.

Exactly, it's not my personal opinion it's about reproduction. People are more fertile and make healthier babies in their twenties.

Your thirties are great for your sake but your sexual marketplace value does go down. Doesn't mean it's impossible to find a partner but it is more difficult

To be very emotionally stable is positive. However, if you feel blunted then that isn't good. I would also suggest therapy. Sounds like there is more to the story and something a professional can help with. I don't feel qualified to say more. In addition to therapy, mindfulness and/or meditation is always a position thing.

I completely agree with you! I thought it was strange to act as a waitress for an event you aren't a part of. I typically prepare food. Set it out and then go do my thing. It's his event, he is the host, not me. I think it's already going above and beyond to make the refreshments in the first place.

I think you should take very good care of yourself. Make sure you exude health; healthy weight, clear skin, and neat hair. It may be cultural but I disagree about needing to change your hair color, and get plastic surgery. I think the key is 100% in femininity. If you work on being an excellent example of a feminine woman, being caring, sweet, and confident, I think men will come running. I am very average looking and I'm 5lbs overweight. I am interested in rock climbing and wood working in addi…

We just got a new house so we each have our own offices and we have two living spaces. We typically spend time almost all of our time together in the same room (except the 15 hours I work outside the home a week) .I can choose to go into my office or my living room if I need to concentrate but generally we enjoy being in the same space. When we first moved in together he would hang out with his friends 4 nights a week. He would leave 30 minutes after I got home (I worked full time then) and be g…

I agree dating and especially after an engagement is trial marriage. You are there working to see if a marriage would work. So I think you should do some wifely duties with a boyfriend but go completely in for a fiance. If the fiance doesn't reciprocate the behavior then you know the marriage might not work. Then you can cut it off before you have to get a divorce

If you are knowledgeable about redpill, then why are you complaining about redpill truths in a redpill space?
/r/RedPillWomen16/07/20 10:43 PM

It seems you don't really understand what redpill actually is. Redpill describes the motivations of people outside of social conditioning, basically focusing on biological programming. In the context of relationships, what men and women want in a relationship is different. We are trying to acknowledge this difference and accomplish happy healthy relationships. You didn't respond to the post and you are complaining about redpill truths. Yes, women want men who are healthy and can provide. Please …

I hate both parties, I think they are both sides of the same coin. I think we need to stop with the two party system. I don't know where I am on abortion because I am pro to save a life, as a last resort, in the cases of rape. I am anti-abortion because some people have turned it in to a sexual preference to continuously get pregnant and abortions. I am pro-public assistance as well. I do not appreciate the extreme left and the extreme right. The ideologies of both groups scare me. I think more …

My husband and I have been together 3 years. I'm 26 he's 30. We both have super low sex drives, once every two weeks works for us. We are very intimate with each other, it's just sex isn't the way we want to connect most of the time. Sex is different for everyone. As long as you guys are happy, that's what's important.

I definitely could have written your post! We are very similar people! On top of not being super fashionable (I'm okay but more focused on comfot), I'm very direct and I'm NOT soft spoken at all. I always considered myself a tomboy but my husband thinks I'm super feminine. He says it's because I'm super kind and I really care about people. So, I second that being kind is probably the only personality requirement.

I honestly think a just a night shower is sufficient. When you shower in the morning you get sweaty and gross throughout the day. Then you get in your bed with a dirty body. If you shower at night, you don't marinate in your daytime stink. Then you can wash your sheets once a week. I don't think you need to wash your pillowcase every day unless you are going to bed dirty.

I'm 26 and I found out about redpill from my husband who says I am naturally redpilled. I don't know if I am old enough to be of help, but I was raised this way, so I've got some years behind me. It would also be fun to have some friends with similar values/mindset as well!

Ah, I think I understand more about what you are saying. I used to crave close female relationships too. The friend who is as close as possible and you can share everything with? I think novels and TV shows we see when we are kids have given us a fairytale concept of friendship. I realized as I got older that each friend combined creates that one perfect friend. One friend that likes plants, one friend I go shopping with, one I bake with, etc... Most friendships are kind of empty. It's depressin…

I used to be feminist back when feminist meant you believed women and men have equal value and should be treated fairly. Equal pay for equal work, and I think paternity leave is absolutely necessary and should be just as long as maternity leave. I also think it should last 6 months minimum. 3rd wave feminism no longer means that. It's gotten, dare I say, more conservative than conservative has ever gone. I definitely can't say I'm not a feminist around my friends because it would go down a long …

Redpill is scary on the male side because it's full of some really crazy guys. Although, I think some of its core values are compatible with ours. I think RPW is a great resource but you don't have to agree with everything said. One post here said women shouldn't get an education. I whole-heartedly disagree. An education and career is for yourself, not your relationship. It's important to know what a man wants in a relationship vs what a woman wants. We care about career and status but a man abs…

My husband watches redpill and MGToW videos. He started watching it because it helped him understand his ex, her behaviors and motivations. It was core to helping him heal from her extremely abusive behavior. We are African American, so the videos are about our community and male/female relationships. It used to bother me because I only saw it as being incredibly disrespectful towards black women. He kept telling me, "this is about them but you aren't like them" . Needless to say, that didn't go…

I definitely think you are right, plastic surgery is not a great idea. I think you should work on loving yourself. I had/have lot of self esteem issues. I wrote a letter to myself, reminding myself of my value and accomplishments and included a childhood picture of mine. At the end of the letter it says "would you be saying those things to her?". I read the letter whenever I start to self deprecate. Through repetition, and over time those feelings have lessened. Through that, I am not as critica…

While she has awesome advice about everything, but I'd like to offer a different suggestion about the hair and skin. Hair: Your hair could be dry because you are washing it too much. My hair is 3c. I wash it once a week. The tighter the texture the less you wash it. I think the typical washing routine for 4c might be every 2/3 weeks. Is your hair permed or straightened by heat? If so, stop that immediately. That is 100% the reason your hair is too dry. Since you are west African, I'm assuming yo…

I think this is an awesome response. I don't even need to comment, this was said better than I could have. I want to add additional stress on focusing on self awareness and self improvement. Learn to understand your emotions (what they are and where they are coming from) and learn how to have a conversation about those emotions. Understand that emotions, although powerful may not always be rational or about what triggered them. That doesn't make the emotions less important, just that they should…

So I think there are two factors here. You need a man that will be able to compensate for your lack of working and keep up with the lifestyle that you are used to. (If that's important to you, I'm assuming you wouldn't want someone who makes significantly lower) He will need to make your income++ because kids are expensive. To try to filter out some men who won't be able to do this, you could put an education level on there, like Master's and up (I think that's an option). For the sake of intere…

Unfortunately, the dining table would be in the center of the main living space in the new house. Its a townhouse. When you walk in you go up stairs. The first thing you see is the table. It's a open living space so the kitchen is on the left, table in center, and living room on the right. That's why I want to replace it. He has kept saying no. I just wanted to have a conversation where we can make definitive plans to replace it.

We were just talking. He said he felt disrespected because I'm comparing the blinds to the table. I kept telling him I wanted to have the conversation where we can discuss the blinds and table. He fussed and fussed and said "well we can have a conversation about it" I said "thanks, that's what I've been asking for. I would like to have a conversation about it." Then he said we should separate money or we get cheap blinds and don't get the table. I said I was trying to come to a conclusion where …

So, I calmly explained how I was feeling. I said I would like to discuss a compromise; particularly a way where we can both be happy. He just started yelling, and he laughed at me twice. He refuses to compromise. We weren't able to get to the point of discussing how table could be purchased or anything like that. I thought that was good advice, thank you. I think we have more issues than I realized.
/r/RedPillWomen22/04/20 09:41 PM

I typically concede when we are discussing things. I'm not typically the one that has a strong desire for something. I'm very much into home decorating. No, it has nothing to do with how he feels about his ex. The table is drastically different from the rest of our home. Imagine a bright pink antique table in the middle of a modern black and white house, it matches and fits the home they had together but not ours. I don't think it's him "indulging" my desires, since the blinds would require I "i…

Our money is pooled together. We don't spend that much money without discussing with each other. I'm not asking him to sacrifice. I would like a table and he would like the blinds. They cost about the same. We have the ability to get both and I proposed that.

I'm black. I am overlooked by men of every race. When a man is looking at my group of friends, they are never looking at me. I would feel bad about it except black men worship the ground I walk upon. To black men, I am a mystical goddess. To everyone else, I'm completely undesirable. I say all of this to say, there are people who consider you to be a mystical goddess.
