It’s something like 90+% of animals are killed I think. I did some community service at a shelter and I went into a massive freezer filled with barrels topped off dead animals. They were stacked all the way to the ceiling and many had too many corpse to stack so they just started a pile on the tops off a group of barrels. Some had rolled off into the ground and were just laying there. The smell was horrific despite the frigid temperature. Fuck that room. So many dead dogs.
