With fishing as well? I think fishing is a basic skill every guy should have. Especially since fresh fish is the best way to eat it. Most of his animals he processes aren’t hunted. He breeds rabbits for food. He has like 50 chickens he usually just uses for eggs but will occasionally eat one. Then he gets calves every year then fattens them and slaughters those for his years supply of beef. He is working on getting his goats milk etc but his billy goat is still too young to get the nannies pregn…

No it’s like rice, beans, coffee, sugar etc. he seals them in 5 gallon buckets and he has stacks of them in his garage. I’m not sure the process but I know he vacuums them in there. We live in Florida so the main source of food in this scenario is fish. There’s always a ready food supply assuming you have access. Id assume in other areas hunting may be more prevalent. Too many people think they’re gonna be fucking Rambo in these scenarios. Better off just learning how to live off the land and be…

My best friend lives on a large property on a lake. Plenty of fish in the lake but he also has cows, goats, chickens, bunnies, bees, produce etc. He also has 5 years of food saved up. He has well water and solar panels off the grid for power. He lives about 30 minutes outside of town. He is my backup plan. I can be lazy cause he has flat out told me I’m more than welcome in the unfortunate event something like that does happen. But I think that is the right way to do it. Have property that is se…

There’s a good chance if someone has made enough money to buy multiple properties they have paid far more in social security than most. If I’ve paid hundreds of thousands of dollars into a system then they tell me I make too much money to get anything back I’d be furious.

They just don’t have shame the same way we do. My cousin was married to a woman who left him as well. My ex’s current husband is friends with a guy who was a groomsman in my cousins wedding. My ex is now trying to set that friend up with my cousins ex wife. Thankfully the friend had the correct response of “uhh John is one of my best friends. I was in their wedding. No.” But it’s just funny that A) these women’s common bond of friendship comes from leaving men from the same family and B) so litt…

That is exactly the issue. I am a Christian. Ex used to claim it until the church told her she can’t leave her husband for no (good) reason. She does it anyways and marries this guy who isn’t a Christian. I never talk to him about it but I have asked my ex if she will take our daughter to church on weeks she has her and she just said she is over all that but won’t get in the way of me teaching her Christian values. People say the guy is nice enough. My daughter appears to like him, so that’s abo…

I’m a single dad, have my kid 50-50, it’s not hard at all being a single parent. People just make this shit up. There are things that are hard, like my ex re-married immediately so some other guy I don’t know or talk to is helping raise her with values different than my own. But as far as practical living, a lot of ways it’s easier. My ex isn’t telling me what I’m doing wrong every day. She isn’t here complaining about me or my interests or my choices. I just do what’s best for me and my daughte…

Nkj is an ok translation. Just remember it was translated from the Greek into Latin and then the Latin was used to translate nkj. ESV is a word for word translation from the original texts. Niv is a “meaning for meaning” translation from the original text.

Just curious why? Just live your life dude. Presidents are just figure heads to keep people fighting. The USA has abandoned God and replaced Him with politics. Instead of Jesus, they pray for a politician to be their savior. The world will all be better if X or Y is elected. It’s just a game. It’s likely very little will changes between Trump and Biden with how we live our lives. Maybe the stock market will do a little worse. But I don’t really care. I stopped caring years ago. Just gonna live m…

I don’t like all the negative talk about women on here but I suppose some guys just going through anger. To your point though, I know several guys who are mgtow but have no clue this sub or anything about mgtow exists. They just live life happily on their own.

I mean. I’ve had a beard since I was 19. Nothing to do with being manly. Everything to do with not wanting to shave constantly. I’d do the same thing w my hair. Cut it short then let it grow till it was about to my shoulders then cut it off again.

I married a single mom. Took me a while to come around but started dating her, her oldest was 3-4. The younger was 11 months. We dated 4-5 years we got married and about a year later she wants a divorce. Now these kids I’ve spent time with over the last 6 years are out of my life, without even an explanation. She tells people I was emotionally abusive, not available, crazy, sex addict, etc etc. I’m fine, I’ve moved on w my life but I would not do it over again. There’s no denying that it works o…

I mean who actually makes that anyways? My best friends 14 year old daughter just got a job at Chick-fil-A and she started at $10 an hour. My buddy just got a part time gig stocking shelves at Publix during Covid and they started him at $13.75. I don’t see the need to justify livability on minimum wage. It’s stupid easy to make more than that.

A maid is not expensive. I have one I found on Craigslist for $50 every two weeks she cleans the house top to bottom. She even does any laundry I have laying around, she washes my daughters sheets and does dishes I may have left in the sink as well. I still try to keep the house tidy anyways but it’s nice to have it all so clean every couple weeks. Highly recommend!

This is so sad how well this is supported in here. We should not be teaching our children to talk like this to anyone, much less the kids mother. This poor kid sounds like he’s lost the parent lottery and has two shitty parents. I don’t care how much I may disagree with something with my ex, I’d take the issue to her, not put my kid against her. This is insane and in my opinion borderline abusive, not good. We should not be teaching children to hate women. We should not be teaching kids to talk …

Starting my own software consulting firm this week. Got my first project lined up, working on the final sales pitch tonight. Can’t wait! I also found out I’m getting a nice raise this December. My boss told me it’s over double the next highest raise in my department. It’s been a good week.

“When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns it's back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe.” ~Bastiat

I have lots of family and friends. I keep myself very involved in other people’s lives. I believe it is important. I have about an equal split of married and non married friends. They are supportive of me not being in relationships. They’ve watched what it has done to me. Life is good.

This could be my ex wife’s tinder profile. There’s no shame in these women. It doesn’t exist. And the new guys will all hear the same story: the previous guys were abusive, didn’t give them attention, didn’t show love etc. and they will believe it.

I have an instapot. It’s the little one but it’s fine for me. I put like 3-4 ribs in there. Last time I just made mashed potatoes with it and put that gravy/sauce all over it. I hardly use a stove. Everything is instapot, air fryer or on the grill.

Tonight I’m going to see John Wick 3 with a couple buddies. Tomorrow I’m going fishing at another buddies house (he lives on a private lake with monster bass. He pulled out an 11 pounder last week). Sunday going to church then floating in the pool the rest of the day. Likely with a lot of beer. Edit. Here are a couple fish he’s pulled out of his lake https://i.imgur.com/MFbsBoH.jpg

“Must have been before we were dating” lol I remember when my ex wife and I split she asked one of my friends if I had been on her tinder cause she got a notification of a match even though “I haven’t been on it in years.” I was confused cause I’m not on tinder so I google when tinder was created... almost a year after we started dating. Nice. Stay strong dude. Don’t let them fool you again.

I wish they wouldn’t align it with anything political. Tying mgtow to any sort of political figure means they can illegitimize the politician to write off the whole ideology. People will look at mgtow as red hat trumpsters etc. I don’t want a political discussion. I don’t care how any of you align politically. I just want our bond to be about living our lives without the need of validation from women and ZERO mention of any political or religious affiliation.

https://i.imgur.com/1I2bgSD.jpg Cheers man. I did the same thing. Floated all day then grilled some burgers, brats and hot dogs for my family (parents and siblings). They left and I drank beer and played dota. No nagging. No telling me I’m doing things incorrectly. No whining about me smoking. Just plain peace.

It’s amazing the people saying NTA. Just deranged people. I would be willing to bet a lot of money none of the people saying “NTA” have ever had to pay child support. I’d wager they are all single moms or women waiting to suckle at the tit of single parent money in the future.

What you’re saying is true but I recommend just not interacting and getting used to being single. It’s just better. I don’t want women using me and I don’t want to use women. I’d rather just live my own life.

I’ve been married and divorced twice. My second wife was on her second marriage as well. She did not wear a veil and intentionally wore an off white dress. I think some people do still care. Although, as you can tell from the divorce part, it still doesn’t matter.

You’re not alone. I actually wish there was less anti women content on this sub. But to each their own. I think most mgtow are more in our situation but the more vocal ones are the ones who have been burned. Like think about online reviews. You’re way more likely to leave a review for bad service. Good service is considered normal. That’s how I feel about the anti-women rhetoric on here. It’s just the more upset guys.

I live in Florida so it doesn’t really get that cold here very often. It’s not as warm as an actual fire but it absolutely does give off heat. Very nice when it’s like 50-60 degrees outside. I absolutely love it though. It’s on the back side of my pool. I’ll put on music or a show on the tv and sit there for hours smoking and drinking. I used to go to bars a lot to party and be around women etc. now I just sit at home and I’m happier. And save way more money. Gas fire, heated pool, outside 4K tv…

It can be good even for married men. I was reading this material before my divorce initiated. I didn’t get into mgtow stuff with my ex but I did talk about how men get screwed in divorce over child support etc. Not yet wanting a divorce she agreed with how the system is biased against men. That was good for when she did want a divorce because I could point to her saying how it was bad for kids etc to not get time with both parents. Divorce still sucks but I got 50-50 custody and zero child suppo…

Tell them you’re doing your best to be as Christ like as you can be, thus staying single just like He was. Or quote them Paul the apostle who actually said it is better for a Christian to be unmarried. “32 I want you to be free from anxieties. No path in life will ever be serenity. I’d say life is more like an ocean. Some days you’re drowning in crashing waves, barely able to keep your head above water. Some days you’re surfing and going wild. And most days you’re just bobbing up and down letting the ocean hold you up and just lazily going where it takes you. I’d say my goal is never to try to get rid of the drowning days, I cannot control the ocean. I can get lonely. I get depressed. But the thing is I was both those things while mar…

I remind myself of the cost. Whether that be financially (I’ve lost about $100k over two divorces), or emotionally. I’d honestly say the second is worse. The money pisses me off sure. But I can make money back. I can’t get back the time and energy I poured into women for them to use and abuse me. The lurkers here may say the same old “who hurt you?” And id gladly say women. Get off social media and your life will be much better I promise. You won’t feel like the world is as divides as the news wants you to believe. You won’t stress about what you don’t have or are missing out on or all kinds of other things you cannot control. Do not make excuses like “oh I just want to see my friends kids!” Or “I just use it for work.” Chances are, there’s no good reason to stay on it. Took yesterday off for divorce bullshit (mediation). Took today off to get drunk and ride mini bikes at my buddies house. It’s a little rainy but the beer is cold and the bikes are fun. And it’s helping me not think as much about how much money I’ve thrown down the drain marrying a single mom. Naw fuck it. Don’t get married. Don’t even talk to single moms.

I have a 2016 and the ac went out this year. It’s a common problem with a part called an evaporator? It’s under warranty but I had to drive a hybrid for like a week while they repaired it. It’s a very common problem. Just google mustang evaporator. The car is a blast to drive but it really bothered me the ac went out with 18,000 miles on the car.
