You know, I thought so too at first, but I checked his post history (edited) and I don't think you're right.

As women, we have been oppressed by men's physical advantages over us since the beginning of humankind. But now, in today's modern societies, the tables are finally turning. Especially with the advent of the Internet and social media, and the economy's transition from manufacturing to information, women are leveraging their natural advantages (e.g., social skills, emotional intelligence, and communication) to gain power. That's the introduction...

You're thinking about her choices right now more than she ever has.

There's an episode of Black Mirror, Season 3 Episode 1, that has a plot line that's exactly that.

Well, you see, sometimes you don't have a choice in matters as things are dictated from on high down to you. If corporate says "iPad only", guess what? I do hope you never have to feel this burn, but if you actually work in the industry for any major player, you'll know what I'm talking about. /out

Okay. Please stop saying you're a sysadmin if you're coming out with this nonsense. It waters down the title.

That's the equivalent of saying it only works sometimes. I guess it's not an issue to you, but have no doubt, it's a real headache when you can't touch them.

I really want to know what you mean by no issues. If I need to get 50 iPads an updated corporate software and it requires every user to accept and install? Why not just email the link at that point.

Lol. Nice plug, Cisco. Meraki has been shit since IOS 9.1 came out. Can't push apps down (prompts for install) and a few other fun quirks. Looking to migrate soon. Works fine for Windows and Android. Haven't pushed to a Mac yet.

Sorry if this doesn't contribute to your post, but I feel the need to point out: I'm not sure if many of you are aware of this, but the titular quote comes from Isaac Newtons translation of the Emerald Tablet of Thoth and has always struck me as having a uniquely succinct way of explaining natural interactions in general. Worth reading.

You shouldn't be broadcasting that then. All it takes is for one angry woman to test your procedures and litigate. Also, Stratton Oakmont ran for 11 years between 1985-1996. You'd need a fucking time machine to do what you're talking about doing here.

God, the ending of that movie just pissed me off too much though. He sits there and listens through her throwing it around with a countless number of partners, getting screwed over time and again, talking about how murder is so wrong, how she is glad she didn't kill the man that raped her... But he tries to get in bed with her and she shoots him dead without a word. She literally couldn't suffer this beta dude for a moment in a sexual way, even though this act is like breathing to her and her sh…

Never heard of that story; interesting read. For others interested: ""Harrison Bergeron" is a satirical and dystopian science-fiction short story written by Kurt Vonnegut and first published in October 1961. Originally published in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, the story was republished in the author's Welcome to the Monkey House collection in 1968. The story satirizes the policy of equality of outcome as an agent for achieving societal equality, and dramatizes the dystopian effec…
