Certainly, I only did 4 years in a logistics job. Large parts of it were just a civvy job but we were in MTPs. Doing 22 years in an inf batallion however where you learn few civvy skills and the discipline is far greater and I can understand why some will have a bad time.

Depends on how you approach it, I left the army after 4 years in 2013 and was thrown job offers at me. I ended up in a management job at 23, £5k above what I was earning in the army.

No drama, look for a 'screw head' razor over the one I posted. I'm currently looking but finding it hard. Look no more than a tenner a soap dish, 7-10 for a brush and a tenner for the blades. As I say, they're cheap and I've had no dramas, that includes shaving bollocks and face. Some people prefer razor brands....

A lot of people steer towards /r/wicked_edge but personally they over complicate it and make it 'a thing'. I was using £10 equipment at one point but found a low-mid range kit to be fine. Gillette razors are shit anyway. I spent £40 6 years ago for a D/E razor, brush, soap and 200 blades. I get a better shave and no irritation unlike Gillette 10 blade bollocks. I've bought 2 soap blocks in that time so £10 a year shaving costs. I still have around a third of the blades left. To me their political spin was desperation to appear relevant. I know many people my age who don't use their products years before the 'woke' crap.

This is true, certain places aren't coddled with crazy feminist theory. I work with Polish girls. One of them said a month ago she was aiming to lose the 5 pounds she put on (stunning girl, looks 5-8 years younger than what she is). Meanwhile, tonnes of women I work with natively waddle around 30+ pounds overweight and complain they can't find a man and look 10 years older.

She's aware of them. She mainly watches smaller youtubers whom you can tell are just doing it as they enjoy it. She sees straight through the larger or more well known ones. She didn't at first though until I explained so many of them are basically the same and are signed up to agencies who get a cut of their ad revenue/book deals/make up lines etc etc I'm sure many of them are very genuinely nice people but the way youtube has them utilised is unreal.

These 'influencers' are creepy. Regardless of gender. My gf watches a lot of them and 9/10 of them are very self entitled as well as delusional about their job (they're human billboards with no life). They're copy and paste in most cases and their 10:01 daily uploads consist of them spending crazy amounts of money and somehow doing very little of note. The internet influencer should be something we push against but vlogging is happily accepted.

Reddit for me has got to a point where I frequent probably no more than 10 subs now. It used to be a great place for people to discuss topics as a 'lite' forum but with it becoming more popular the site has gone to shit. I remember being off school due to snow or something when I was about 9 and couldn't wait to help my mother with the jobs she had to do. You basically described her day. Except up at 7am, peg the washing out at around 11am, hoovered the floors and make evening meal. Overall around 90 mins work. I can easily get it done now I'm 25 in under an hour and without the whining.

ugh, as a kid with divorced parents it's this 100% My mother had us convinced my father was a piece of shit, demanding more off him after the divorce on top of child payments. In my late teens I managed to see past a lot of it and now I feel sorry for my mother and closer to my dad. He really is a rock under what she did to him and he's certainly shown me how to be stoic and steadfast is such situations.
