At will doesn’t allow for any accountability. A terminated employee can claim they were discriminated or retaliated against, but without a reason for termination, they don’t have much to back them up.

As his wife, she has a legal obligation to take reasonable action to prevent his suicide if she’s aware of the risk. Her expressed awareness and inaction could easily disqualify her from benefiting from a claim or serve as grounds for a fraud suit if her claim is approved.

if anything she should report any threats or actions that suggest he might kill himself to mental health professionals But she doesn’t. Instead of trying to get him help, she’s literally planning on him committing suicide so she can cash in on the insurance policy she’s shopping for. Fellow gay bro here, and all I have to say is Gross. I’d never seen the sub until this post, and now I wish I hadn’t.
