Yeah you're right. Just some drugs and reckless driving. At least wait until she runs over and kills a few people first.

She is free to be rude back to people. But not within the context of a sponsorship / job. The way to deal with a rude client at work is not to be rude back. When you are paid to do a job you have to deal with bullshit / idiots in a civilised way. If you want to act however you like to people then do so, just don't expect brands to stand by you and sponsor you in doing so.

In every conceivable way, yes you do. I hardly count a drinking age as "taking it up the ass". The way to disagree with or work to change any law is not by ignoring it. Especially one so inconsequential to your happiness as drinking underage.

I'm not sure how it is elsewhere, but in London disabled / pregnancy seats are just regular seats, that signs ask you to vacate if asked. They aren't like disabled parking spaces.

This has got absolutely nothing to do with fucking "body shaming", and more taking naked pictures of unknowing people and posting them online.

It should probably be more of a "don't hit people" thing.

To be fair, it's not guys who have the problem. Guys look, and move the seat if necessary. The male side of this argument is just mostly confusion over what the actual issue is. I've never seen a woman that I consider rational complain about this, as there really isn't any argument to be hard here.

All the comments about how women are "constantly afraid" and all this shit. It amazes me. It's literally as if someone was saying they want a "whites only" building in a black neighbourhood because people would feel safe. You mention the word safety as a woman and everyone comes running. You mention it for something like race (still wrongly so - I'm not advocating for racism) and people (correctly) get angry.

Yeah this is pretty much the case. A lot of YouTubers still target the same audience as the actual audience members will change, and they know that the content works, so new people reaching the demographic will find them. Changing your content is actually a risk that only those at PDP's level can really afford to take so easily.

I never cared that much about PDP but damn is he winning me over lately with these few funny videos. I know some people quite like this vegan girl, feel very bad for normal vegans as they really do attract a lot of these psychos.

This isn't really something people can have an opinion on is it? Those definitions are factually incorrect. This person can write whatever they like, and someone can argue all day long. The sun is not green and those definitions are not correct, open and shut.

That presenter was really awful, and were some genders reversed, would easily be called sexist. She glances over points and purposefully misunderstands things to just further her own agenda. What a miserable failure of an attempt at journalism. She looked so petty just bickering and picking out bits to be annoyed about instead of attempting to foster some actual discussion. And the female guest!? Why was she there?! What was she adding!? Seemed to be her job was to complain and be backed up by t…

It's amazing the stages this always takes. Usually the feminist arguing it will first try to wash over an explanation of how it's the same pay for the same job, just different job choices. Then they'll just endlessly drone on about society. Milo made a good point about how the argument degenerates into just repeating the word society. What do these people believe defines society? Society is the product of human actions. The whole idea of forced societal shifts is in a way completely alien and il…

So what is left that defines a feminist? All we see are "that's not really feminism" talk. Please realise that all feminism is nowadays is just extremists and well meaning people who do nothing, that just like the name because of its historical importance.

Consider how we handle police who get temporarily mushbrained due to stress. Exactly, "due to stress". There's no excuse here, this is just a person calmly and freely expressing their views. And her views are sexist and racist.

Positions like this crop up basically due to political correctness and outcry from people like her. They're most common (only ever really) at universities, because you sadly get a lot of these SJW type people around that age. And when you have someone crying about the terrible conditions for this and that ethnicity and minority, it's difficult for a university board to argue against them. Not because of their sound reasoning, but because of the difficulty in arguing against someone who will at e…

I was wondering what the fuck that meant too. He could have easily rolled the bitch to the back of the room Unless rolled means dragging her unconscious body, I'm not really sure what the suggestion is here. /u/Powerslave1123 is living in a fantasy world. This girl clearly has no intention of learning or participating and only aims to disrupt the lesson. The answer of somehow magically moving her away and giving her more attention than other students is ridiculous.

Assault doesn't start with who struck who first. I think even if you do something like forcefully block someones path consistently that can count as assault, and defending yourself can be valid, even though you're technically the one to strike first. I'm definitely not arguing that that's wrong.

I love how every time some bullshit like this is denied, there's some attempt at a "This is actually a good thing, this helps fight sexual discrimination". No, it really doesn't. This ended because it was completely moronic. People shouldn't try to invent good in this and ways it can benefit others, but instead look at it rationally and draw logical conclusions as to why frivolous cases like this do get dismissed. I'm referring to numerous articles I've read that try to give it a positive spin.

No one has ever used "like a girl" as an insult to a girl.... How can the point be missed by this wide a margin? It's a basic piss-take to other men where the joke is calling them something they are not.

I pretty much agree with the reasons you're confused about it all. All the bs that's counted as "rape" nowerdays really isn't. Someone who was pressured into something and only finds out it was "rape" the next day from a friends definition is not comparable with someone who is physically assaulted in a dark alley. I think the only point is that if this BS is applicable to women, it has to be to men. Half of it is the principle and just the whole double standards of it. But yeah being raped is no…

That's not female specific though. Well you've just answered your own question. Expand that to everything else. Your ever increasingly loose definitions of rape, such as non verbal permission, talking someone into it, not getting a notarized document etc are one way. These rules have to work both ways. And there's the obvious point that someone could simply not want to. By now you should have figured out that sexual arousal isn't exactly something that everyone can control 100% of the time. It's…

I was reading and kept expecting the reason why this is a female only idea... It seemed to be that there are less women imprisoned, and prisons therefore tend to cater to only men. Ignoring the obvious talking points from this, they do go on then to specifically talk about womens prisons, which... one would assume... are better at catering to women. At no point did I see an actual reason why this argument was being made for womens prisons over male prisons.

I'm sorry and I know this has been done to death, but what gives anyone the right to dictate what others can and cannot say to them when in a public place? I would consider someone actively policing my freedom to speak as something closer to (but still not) harassment. I think it becomes harassment when it becomes excessive or continual. Even if someone yells something vulgar (which didn't really happen in that video), when did that stop being some guy yelling bs and start being harassment? Why …

People use topics that they know will get a reaction and attempt to build a career around them. Anita in this example, crowd funds huge amounts for a few poorly backed up videos. She gets paid to peddle opinion and sexism at universities to people who will, like most people tbh, accept a reason presented to them that explains why they aren't the most successful, greatest people who ever lived. Most people will believe they're capable of more than they're achieving, or deserving of more respect, …

Your argument is really what if she had a gun and shot a kid? I was on the fence, but you do sound like a pathetic white knight now. Let's apply "what if someone has a gun and shoots a kid" to literally every single situation in life. What a complete failure of an argument. Why do morons have to over react to everything. Like if you, and the guy in the video, just yell "kids!" enough, everythings fine? The guy was grabbing the woman. If you think any kid was in danger in that video then you're a…

I think it's a negative to think of anyone concerned with mens rights as a counterpart. It seems a very simple, inward group that hasn't really stirred up a lot of trouble or drama in the past and focussed, from all I've ever seen (bar the normal few nut-jobs) on specific internal, specific mens issues. It's feminism that has turned it into "MRA's!" as the enemy and opposing party that feminists and white knights can unite against. There is no competition, and sometimes not even any real conflic…

I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with you, just your point about panic attacks. So so so so often are people who are just complete fucks harping on about "panic attack" and "disorder" this and that. I'm all for promoting real issues but people just take advantage now. No one's actually an asshole, they just have these 3 (usually self-)define-able things that you can't get upset with them for having. That may seem insensitive to sufferers, but those who take advantage of terms they've heard are fa…

Yeah but I think this group for example is a product of the insane batshit feminist group. It's not your every day feminist or feminism as an idea that is negative (just unnecessary imo), it is the fact that the loudest, full time feminists are the poisonous ones. Ideally there would be no need for a group or a subreddit like this. I hope one day there isn't. But I don't see mens rights groups being as actively negative on society as others. It may be that stopping groups like this is the starti…

Then what is the difference? What is the difference between feminism and gay rights activism? That might sound like a perfect, harmonic idea of everyone pushing for equality, but in reality it is just dumb. An end to sexism / racism / homophobia doesn't come with individual groups policing everyone in their own way, it comes with a much more united effort free from labels, even those of groups aiming to do well. Also there is the aforementioned issue that these groups will attract the extremists…

Good then I guess. Feminism was a great thing that had a brilliant place in history, but there is absolutely no room in todays society for a group focusing on promoting only one gender or races agenda, as it will always attract extremists.

Yes. Because most women when asked will agree that "yes, I am a feminist", because they believe in equality and fairness for all. Lots of women will still be under the impression that women don't get a fair deal in the workplace and earn less than men. They're not feminists as such, more people who like to promote the idea of fairness and equality for all, something you don't need feminism for, and the term "feminist" is traditionally associated with this. It is supposed to give women a way to b…

So what difference does it make to a baby? Why bring it up and argue a non point? Gender by your definition, seems to be interchangeable based on the information to hand. So to base gender on gender, wherever you derive gender from, is not arguable... Literally read the words. Actually the baby doesn't yet have a gender. It has a sex. then A baby is neither masculine nor feminine, therefore it's gender is based on its sex. Consistent... Once again, you're reading far too far into a basic joking …

"Gender is based on sex, not gender." That's a logical quote for the ages. Read what you've written. My point was a joke. Gender is based on gender. They are the same word. It's literally impossible for them not to be identical, as I am talking about the same thing. Whatever your point is, the word gender means what the word gender means, and the word sex means what the word sex means. 1 = 1. Not 1=2, but 1 still exists as 1.

I'm not following random links you pluck from a web of conflicting points. The fact that this is being talked about at all is beyond stupid. Leave the male/boy/guy/dude/masculine/man kid alone. Also my original quote was actually: I wish we'd stop basing gender on a persons gender.

That isn't an opinion that feminists like you describe are entitled to and should be respected for. It's simply incorrect, founded in absolutely no logic and stupid. I guess they're free to have their opinion regarding what makes people sexist, but opinions can still be, and in this case are, completely wrong and stupid.

I think it depends, using the above example regarding governmental departments. Sometimes differences crop up through cultures, histories, communities and interests that segregate people by race. These can sometimes occur naturally, and catering to these differences is not racist. If people are purposefully segregated based on race then it is. However that sentence kind of conflicts with what I wrote above. If people are denied options and rights, in a significant sample size, then an inequality…

Well yes, whoever said it, it appeared you were on that side of the argument. So what I originally said was that his opinion that he was expressing as fact differed from my experiences, and was thus not "normal". Which seems to be your view also. I even said "it's not fucking normal for me to know anyone." I'm sure you didn't intentionally misquote me. I can and will make the claim that his definition of normal is inaccurate and wrong. Agreed. But initially I said that your comment about knowing multiple or any victims was way off. Again, please stop quoting "how statistics work". It doesn't look smart and it makes you appear as a total condescending asshole. What? I know full well how statistics work. Just because you know some people who fit into your viewpoint, that means you can claim statistics in your favour? By your same logic, you may know a lot of people who have been raped, but someone else may not know anyone. Why are you randomly picking sides and then telling other people they don't understand...?

Okay, well it seems that neither of us are spot on then. As just because it's high where you are, doesn't mean what you're reading is inaccurate. Just like I can't say it's right / too common even, based on my experience. Also to quote that number you'd have to factor in, as others have already pointed out, a roughly 50-60% false accusation rate.

What the absolute fuck? I can say that I know exactly zero women who have been raped or sexually assaulted throughout my time studying and in adult life. Obviously this refers mainly to people I know well enough to talk to (a fair few!), but news and rumours would unfortunately spread either way, neither of which I ever heard. I live in the UK, maybe statistics are different here. But I promise you it's not fucking normal for me to know anyone, or for anyone I know to know anyone who has been a …

I don't get how you can have the logical idea of mens rights vs womens rights being silly, yet still be a feminist. I agree with your point about human rights, but as far as I can see that kind of contradicts feminism nowerdays. I'm not pro this or that, I simply wish to look out for my rights right now, that apply to me, as it's the only ones I can really remain aware of and comment on.
