Part of it is that female sex workers/porn stars can perform pretty much any day of the month, while males will typically do work only once or twice a week. So a female porn star can do 30+ scenes a month while a guy is only doing a couple of scenes. Guys have to stay in top physical shape and even watch their diet to perform their job properly. Genetics and nature is just stacked against them in that industry.

It also isn't very difficult to be a teacher in a lot of states. In WA you only need a two year degree or some kind of proof of education experience. I'm not the kind of person that would want to be a teacher though. If I had to I'd rather go to a trade school and be a carpenter/electrification/iron worker. I had a friend who became a welder on a dam project straight out of high school making near six figures.
