my mommy taught me not to be a selfish prick like my dad You must unlearn this immediately. This is a problem in society. Men becoming the men that their mothers told them to be. Should a cat teach a dog how to be a dog?

This is your first full sentence: My wife, mother in law and bro in law have always said he was such a tough guy growing up and I've been in the family for just about 15 years now. Look at the order of people. This story is about your wife, your mother-in-law, your brother-in-law, and your father-in-law THEN you. All those people have frame; you don't. Don't worry about them... worry about yourself. And FFS, STFU.

Serious answer. My father was diagnosed with MS at 26. This is like 40 years ago. He's a blue collar dude, owns a landscaping company with one employee -- him. He's 70 years old, and still cuts grass for customers. I'm a scientist (legit, like PhD, etc) in oncology. I'm wired to research. I'm part of several MS groups, nationwide. You are being manipulated. She wants safety and stability with you, while also being single. Don't be foolish. Steadily, dispassionately and deliberately, move your life forward, you and your children. You need four things: her move-out date, asset freezing, separation agreement and co-parenting plan. This is less than one month of work. Don't let it drag out. While leading that mess, you must lift, rekindle lost hobbies, lean on friends, and build a bridge to your new life. Seriously, your firs…

I physically cringed reading this. You sound ridiculous. Leave her, Get a lawyer and get shared custody. Yea, okay the "hot breakfast" and "cereal" comparison was cringe to me too. But you are totally clueless if you think shared custody is any substitute for full-time fatherhood. OP obviously gets something out of being a dad. And shared custody with his girlfriend is going to be a disaster, based on his description of the girlfriend. You should’ve ignored the grandmother when she was bitching …

Bro. I have these thoughts a lot. I could go on and on. Simply put, I think the signal-to-noise ratio today is way lower than signal-to-noise ratio then. The signal is the same, but today’s noise is much higher.

Correction: Blarg_Risen’s Cave. Plato blew my mind. Like, he was writing the foundation of The Matrix and The Truman Show in 400BC.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
