In what world does criminal prosecution in a literal sense help victims do anything but get justice for what was done to them?

Lives ruined? Because of a juvenile record. Give me a fucking break. How about don't fucking strip a boy naked in the middle of the day, in the middle of the neighborhood and definitely do not post it on youtube. Don't ya think that may ruin a child's life? Particularly this boy?

HOW - by ensuring he doesn't emotionally, mentally or physically feel alone in all this. It helps by showing him that someone's got his back if he has been wronged, especially to this degree. It helps by setting a precedent for any future related issues. If you truly need this to be explained, please do your legacy a favor and do not have children, especially a boy.

This is a good way to view it. Set a precedent if you have the chance right...

Helps the victim and any future male victim who is harassed and humiliated to this level. Mother may not be a "bad mother," but there is no way you can't call this a huge failure or 'disservice' if you may, to her son.

The boy's mother is just plain stupid. How dare you not stand up for your son and bury these dumbass little girls AND their parents in a barrage of legal hell. In my eyes, you've just failed him as his mother. I have a child close to his age and let me tell you the hell I would raise if this happened to him. This story would turn into international news had the genders been reversed. In fact, had it been older boys doing this to an 11 year old girl, it would be sexual assault NO questions and th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
