On second thought, I think you may have a point considering he wants to be a gynecologist. I mean, it's so fucking bizarre and that alone makes it seem like I'm making this whole thing up. It's too fitting in a way, but also not. Hates women, sexually harasses them, wants to become a gynecologist. It's not like your patients will be a bunch of supermodels and you'll spent your day looking at clean shaven porn-like vulvas all day. It's a nonsexual setting and you'll see all kinds of different wom…

Personally, I don't think so. I didn't get that impression at all. But at the same time, it's not like he would tell me that lol. It's not uncommon for misogynistic men to sexually harass and/or assault women. That's not necessarily because it's a fetish thing, rather it's about control and a lack of respect. I mean, if you think women are inferior and they don't have a say, then it's not like you'll make an effort to ask for consent before getting what you want out of them. Every man I know per…

My old boss, let's call him John. I worked at a makeup store when I was around 20 years old. I had been warned about this guy before I even started working there, his nickname around town was literally "Dick-John" because he used to send dick pics to women. He had gotten in trouble for sexual harassment before. The makeup store also has a spa as a side business. Years prior, they were looking for a masseuse for the spa. He scheduled an interview with a young woman. After the interview was finish…

Because it's the club? It's noisy, packed, and people are drunk. It's strange to go with the goal of finding a serious relationship when everybody is drunk and not in the right state of mind. You give a woman your number and she'll wake up the next day like "Uh, who was this guy again?". I happened to meet my current long-term partner at the club/bar, I'm not saying it's impossible. But neither of us went to said bar with the goal of finding a partner.

And I've previously talked to several men on dating apps who said that they want the housewife type who happily cooks and cleans for their man. What did I do? Immediately log onto reddit and whine about how unfair and unreasonable these men's standards are? No. I said "Okay, then we're not compatible. I'm going to unmatch, but it was nice talking to you!" and moved on. I don't understand why so many of you spend SO much time and energy having a tantrum about women having standards that you disag…

Most people don't go to the club with the goal of finding their future husband/wife.

So what are you whining about then? Just date 50/50 women.

Is 50 Shades of Gray a romance book or is it erotica? It's labeled as a erotic romance novel, quote from Wikipedia:) "Fifty Shades is a series of erotic novels" I understand feeling some type of way if your partner strictly reads erotica. Because, weird lol. But romance novels? That's like getting upset because your girlfriend enjoys romcoms. Most mainstream romance novels don't have any more explicit content than what you'd see in a typical movie. I get where you're coming from, but singling ou…

Why couldn’t a woman either get off to a romance novel the same way that a man gets off to porn Because the book genre romance is not the same thing as erotica. Many romance books aren't explicit at all. No woman is masturbating while reading Pride and Prejudice.

I haven’t looked into all of the ethical concerns so I can’t really create an opinion about what I think about them Strange to criticize people who are against porn without researching one of the main reasons they feel that way.

splitting the bill on dates as the norm and not expecting men to be “providers.” Not expecting men to be providers isn't just about changing social norms, it's deeply rooted in the structures and laws that shape how families function. I live in Finland, and the provider/housewife dynamic isn't really a thing here. When you compare Finland and the U.S. in terms of parental and family support, the reasons for this become obvious: Finland: - 14 months paid parental leave (160 days per parent) at ~7…

Can make her cum from PIV Only 15-18% of women are able to orgasm from penetration alone. Unless clitoral stimulation is involved, this "standard" isn't doable for most women.

Exactly. "How long have you been single?" is a very common and basic question to ask. Nobody wants to be the rebound. "How long were you in that relationship for?" is another common one. Having a history of exclusively short term relationships is not a good sign. Dating is about getting to know each other. Of course a date is going to ask some questions about your dating history.

I've seen men say Lizzo is attractive as well, your point? Also, what's the obsession with Lizzo? An obese woman becomes famous and now she's y'all's main scapegoat for everything. "Hurr durr woman irrational because woman don't harass Lizzo on Twitter for being fat!".

I keep seeing these generalizations about what women think and prefer that don't match what I hear from women around me at all. I'm a woman in my twenties, and while I've heard some women say they prefer dating men a few years older, I wouldn't call it a vastly common preference. But the idea that "a man in his 30s being single is a red flag"? I've never heard any woman say that. Never having been in a relationship by your 30s might raise some questions, but just being single? No. Where are y'al…
