You guys are right on this one. There is an obvious double-standard. We should stop glorifying unhealthy weight for any gender/sex, be it too heavy or the opposite extreme. And fat jokes are boring, anyway.

Report it to the relevant authorities. If at work, report it to HR. If anywhere else, report it to the police. If your question is more about “minor” social coping, say something loud and clear to embarrass the person and force others to pay attention: “Monica, please do not touch me! That is really invasive!” “Gretchen, what’s the matter with you? Nobody asked to see your _____!” Whether or not there will be actual repercussions is something else entirely. Generally, no matter your sex/gender, …

Exactly. This is also a good example as to why people should tell the (kindest possible) truth about why they want to break up. If the other party is a nut, they’ll just try to “fix” whatever the reason is, and potentially do damage to themselves or others along the way. Even though that’s not the dumper’s “problem,” it can set a chain of actions into motion that end up doing more harm than good. For anybody who cares about the whole “greater good” thing or whatever. So, ESPECIALLY with crazy pe…

I mean... I think she’s gross and that publicizing this moment was shameful. Not praising or celebrating her actions at all.

Easier said than done... but yes. The alternative can actually kill you.

Yeah, lol. There’s certainly a danger of self-defeat on either pole, isn’t there? As a Libra, I’m predisposed to the belief that everything in life is best when balanced somewhere in the middle. Taking feminism so seriously that one blocks herself from being able to enjoy the yin and yang of (hetero-) sexual partnership really sucks the fun out of sex, doesn’t it? On the other hand, diminishing oneself into a squeaking cartoonish fucktoy for the sole purpose of pleasing her partner is uncomforta…

I concur in your observations that (mostly western) society encourages more openness and expression of heterosexual female sexuality. However, that tends to influence the behavior of young, impressionable people, who are constantly seeking acceptance, popularity, etc. So, if more young women are sexually assertive, it is not necessarily because it matches their personal desires to be that way. It is because they have been conditioned to believe that it’s what they are supposed to do, in order to…

Note that I started the second portion of my response with when young girls are raised to believe that their value is rooted in sexuality. I did not intend to indicate that all young women feel that way or carry themselves that way. That would be tragic. Yes, there are some people who share a mutual sexual fantasy, and act it out in a mutually respectful, healthy way. My understanding of the initial inquiry was that OP was asking why women “play along” with men’s sexual fantasies, thereby indica…

Woman here. When I am in love, it brings me utter joy to fulfill my partner’s needs. Including and especially his sexual needs. So, I truly enjoy entertaining his fantasies (within reason). On another note, when girls are raised to believe that their worth is based in their sex appeal, they become young women (and then older women) who use their sexuality to gain male attention. Whether they enjoy the ride or not, the willingness to participate is based in a fear of losing that male’s attention/…

Just taking a stab in the dark, but your lack of results might have something to do with your mindset and approach. I can’t say for sure, but I just have a hunch.

This whole entire question is a turn-off, frankly, but I’ll answer honestly anyway: Women are all different. Some bombshells have high self-esteem and some don’t. Some overweight women have high self-esteem and some don’t. The ones with low self-esteem are considered “easier,” generally. OR you might meet a woman who is interested in casual sex and is going into it with her own intentions, not because you seduced her. Those exist in all shapes and sizes, too. If you’re looking for low-hanging fr…
