Not true. Child support calculations differ for every state. Some dollars not factor the amount of time with the child.

There is your problem. Did you live far away from where they were? That is a >100 mile schedule in my state. So the judge probably doesn’t care that she is moving because the schedule doesn’t really change.

You didn’t answer my first question. What was your possession schedule pre her move to Hawaii?

What is your current possession schedule? Did you any weekday overnights? I’m not sure why you are bringing up your girlfriend. You are the parent, not sure why her testimony would matter much. Do she do most of the parenting for your kids?

Never give up on 50/50 custody. Make your work schedule work for you to have 50/50. Your kids have to be your first priority. Expanded standard is more like 38-40%. If you are a fit, willing and able parent you don’t give up until you have 50/50. I just don’t know about the willing part based on your post.

Arizona, Kentucky, Arkansas have all passed this. Hoping Ohio is next!

Custody should always default to 50/50. If that is not what is in the best interest of the child, you should have to prove this to the judge.

State Rep. Victoria Neave's largest campaign donor in this past election cycle was The Texas Trial Lawyers Association PAC. This is the lobbying arm of the State Bar. Obviously if equal parenting were to pass it would substantially lower family law attorney fees which they do not want to happen. See link below. https://www.transparencyusa.org/tx/candidate/victoria-neave-coh You can follow the leaders behind the bill at: https://www.facebook.com/HB-803-Texas-Equal-Parenting-Bill-105504211475727

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
