Nursing in india is seen as the gate way job for conservative women into the work force as it is highly restricted in terms of freedom as a job and hence rural poor parents are only comfortable with their daughters becoming nurses. We’re talking a hostel they are all put in with night curfews , rides to and fro the hospital, not being allowed to leave the hostels without informing a warden, no talking to men outside their profession etc. Also a reason why it’s highly female dominated and reserve…

He’s taking you for a ride friend. By telling your family he’s trying to poach accountability to them if you cheat or mess up. Has he told his parents that y’all are getting married?

I support financially compensating the child that’s bought into existence unfortunately as a product of that rape. How that happens dosent matter to me personally. If all the men want to get together and start a organisation to support all their bastard children so they don’t have to be financially responsible , that would be great too.

Unfortunately your right to abort a child can’t come at the expense of someone else’s right to their body

I never said she should have kept her legs closed and he should have kept it in his pants. I only asked for one to use the most accessible form of contraception available to men, which is a condom. After that we had abortion laws till 20 something weeks in case of the unfortunate but we’re down to 6. You can surrender you parental rights provided the child is financially compensated. Give up all visitation rights.
/r/MensRights31/08/23 09:21 AM

Men need to name he mother because unfortunately women are seems as the primary care givers unfortunately.
/r/MensRights31/08/23 09:17 AM

So who’s going to pay for the child and look after it once it’s born?
/r/MensRights31/08/23 09:15 AM
1

Because the child needs to be compensated for
/r/MensRights31/08/23 09:14 AM
1

As long as the child is compensated for , both parents are able to wash their hands of of a child with adoption according to the law. You think rapist should have access to the children that are a product of said rape?
/r/MensRights31/08/23 09:13 AM
1

Or a condom? The decoupling of consent to sex and to parenthood? Also isn’t giving up child visitations a way to legal surrender a fathers role in a child? You are no longer expected to father a child. Also as long as the child is appropriately compensated , both parents can wash their hands of the child if they wanted to.

Nope, I wasn't. I meant to say that question was what right women don't have, and I said reproductive and rig hut is to their own bodies and you hit me with the whataboutism.

Not when you have kids. Not being able to provide them the best is always on both parents mind in terms of finance. You might not get happiness from money, but it definitely makes child rearing easier and effective with money

So you’re saying women don’t have a moral code? Why would men have a moral code if the only reason they don’t upgrade is because they don’t have as the option to?

I mean aren’t you happy you went above and beyond? Even if it was for a woman. You improved yourself. Women might find that an attractive quality . I mean would you give an ugly girl the time of day? The sad reality of attraction is it’s all conditional. Even the way men see woman. Everyone flocks to the Queen bee. Its disheartening on the other side of the spectrum too

Then aren’t we taking away families right to practice their religion. Like asking sikhs to not wear turbans because a dress code. I’m not for the practice but if we’re trying to fight patriarchy by the use of dress codes then we’re barking up the wrong tree.

I’m not concerned if I come across as a fake woke person. In Irans case it’s a clear yea and no, it isn’t always the case for everywhere. Again, in the name of pointing out it isn’t as clear s yes and no, I pointed the out the example of Muslim woman and the hijab in India (this is not me taking away the spotlight away from the cause but just purely an example). Retread my initial comment about choice with the edit. If any part of that seems hard to understand, let me know. I don’t mind explaini…

I was elaborating on the previous example of choice I had made as a reply (In reply to the person making the fake woke people comment) to another redditor and even said that woman should be allowed to choose as a point I made to another commentor. In no way was I stating that people are forcing woman in Iran to take the hijab off(I made that an example for the case in India as a dichotomy of choice running on both ways) or that hijabi woman are oppressed. Like literally relax. I'm not trying to …

Im not denying criticism of Islam and the hijab. That isn’t the point I am making with my comment above. I agree with you I’but banning it or forcing people to wear it isn’t the solution. We can deconstruct the implicit pressure to wear it which is valid too. I’m trying to say that people should still be allowed to choose. I know a lot of elderly Muslim woman would not be comfortable not wearing it when they’ve worn it all their life. Forcing them to remove it is also stripping them of their aut…

Investment in a cause really depends on how much the person supporting wants to put. You can’t shit on people for wanting to do what they can, irrespective how small it seems to you. A lot of attention to this cause is important considering the fact that the government is trying to suppress the news. Sharing these videos really helps. I also don’t think white woman are trying to parade around as heroes here. The real heroes are definitely the woman standing up to this cause In I ran and I think …

I think it really boils down to the choice to be able to wear it or not. No one should be killed over their decision. In india woman are right now being denied access to education if they wear a hijab. Both cases woman are being stripped of the right to choice. You can be critical of the choice without killing or deny people rights over it. Edit People are confusing choice with two different things. Was it ever a choice to begin with? Probably not. Should people have the choice to not wear or we…

Imagine the ugliest girl with rotting teeth and ridden with STDs . She looks repulsive to you. But she loves you unconditionally. Would that be what you wanted. Obviously not. Your love is just as conditional as the women you hang out with. You're everything you that hurts you in this world to someone else. This hurt you feel will eventually become part of your life and you won't feel it when you realize how inevitable it is that you're the same thing that hurts you to someone else. It dies off …

How do quantify stuff when emotions and feelings? There are two sides to a coin and we'll never know how many people without any bias or external disturbance can actually be friends. I'm merely suggesting that it is possible to be friends. A counter to the men and women can't be friends.
