What a great read! I know I need to work on #2. It's so easy these days for everyone (especially a millennial like myself) to instantly react to every single notification that may pop up on my phone, and the same goes to my boyfriend. I think tonight I'll propose we set our phones on the table and just spend time together without every little distraction. Same goes with us fishing tomorrow! I will keep my darn iPhone on airplane mode and only take pictures. I need to appreciate him and his prese…

I'm only 22 and I don't think it's ever expected for me to bring anything to BBQs or fish frys that we often go to but I feel strange if I don't. I love baking for people! My boyfriend is coming into town Thursday night and we'll spend time together before the BBQ Friday. He says he wants to do more in the kitchen with me (just for fun) so maybe we can…

I just can't handle that she nitpicks every single piece of a traditional wedding, stating every feminist reason she thinks it's wrong, but then she decides to just do them anyway. If you're going to claim you're so passionate about something that you give yourself the title of "feminist", at least have some self respect and stick to your guns. It's like she realizes she's denying herself something she wants so she pretends she's doing it for some other made-up reason than what it's actually for…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
