That's more on the employer than anything. If you've filled out a resume as of late its key question is "have you ever been convicted (if acquitted do not write) of something other than a traffic ticket".

To be fair what a person is making can represent what situation they are with their life. If you were in their shoes and you saw 2 similar looking guys you might look into it. Which would you rather choose, a 30 year old who's making 20K and most likely living under another persons roof, or a 24 year old fresh out of college making 80K and most likely owning his own home. I get their are exceptions, but a persons financial situation speaks a lot about who they are.

I see the reason the 20-25 don't care is because they are living their own lives and doing what they want to do. Anyone older is generally graduated, in a career, or unemployed. With those things set in their lives settle down and they don't have to think about themselves is much, so what other to do then judge others.

Most developed cities would most likely be a bit safer for single dads. Seattle is a great example, and I believe other cities around you like Vancouver would probably share the same Ideals.

They could but most positions like that (such as cook, radio operator, long range airstrike callers, medic, etc) are positions filled already. We already have a standing military that could fight a war,and with those we have support positions most of which are careers for these people already.

Yeah I hate that they do that as well. The only way I'd accept that is if they made sure that the standard they set is necessary for the job. Earlier this year they allowed women to openly enlist for front line positions. I have no problem about this as long as their minimum passing for training is enough that they can handle the problems of war.

Okay let me reread you in different words what I was trying to tell you and you just proved. Just because a topic can be related to feminism DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO. I mean christ man every time someone makes a valid point there is some guy (in this case you) who pulls some article or some point on how it's related to or feminist fault. Okay I read this, and it really has no connection other than a war scenario. The girl in this story is obviously blind to a true scenario and doesn't see the fact that his up brining made him known of weapons, but it really doesn't connect.

I would never say a woman has no place in the military at all. I'm saying that if you took the population of America and trained them for a month to be a solider, that more men would be combat ready then women due to natural biology.

I get what that this is /r/MensRights but just adding feminism to every comment doesn't make it smarter or better. I made a point to this mans post because it applied to him. In fact can I get this message to the rest of the subreddit threw here cause if so I want to say this. Just because a subject could be related to something mildly related to feminism doesn't mean you have to jump on it, because if you do you're no better than a feminist saying "well if I said this a man would just say"

Those positions are already filled before war by people who volunteer, as the are also professions, and for the most part don't have casualties because they work behind the line so replacements wouldn't be as necessary.

I've discussed this with women in the military before and they agreed with me. It's not being sexist, but biologically speaking a males body will reach the state of soldier level faster than a females due to muscle build up that has been in our DNA since cavemen.

To be honest I can kinda understand some reasons why they aren't included in the selected service act. Think about it for a second if you think of the average qualifications it takes to be a soldier. You would have to, hike with up to 100lbs of equipment, be able to drag a wounded ally, be able to run miles on end, strong arms to stay steady while shooting, and the mental psyche to stay calm in battle. Now if every soldier has to have this what percentage of men do you think could handle this af…

Same thing happened in my school ironically our mascot is also a mustang. 3 guys sent around a photo between a few friends of one of their GF's butt and they were suspended while the girl got to go to the counselor about it skipping class a few times a week. Also even sicker after all this happened she's still with the guy who originally spread it.
