Not unrequited love. I was thinking an actual loving relationship, like what we would consider happy couples to have. If its working, I don't know that you could measure the intensity of love at all. I've always seen love as binary. I love someone or I don't, I've never understood the idea of "love a little" or "love a lot." But I know people's interpretations of those crazy feelings we call love are highly personal, that's why I wanted other people's take.

Serious question: if it's real love, do you think it's possible for one party to love more than the other?

I've gotten something almost exactly like that before. She's being very mature and upfront which is good. Take her at her word. I'd move on. After a few months, contact her every once in a while to get together like you said, but with no ulterior motives (and let it show.) Worked for me; she came around. But I wouldn't expect that or get hung up on it.

Women. Can't live with 'em, can't have heterosexual sex without 'em.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
