I think it's really important to remember that most people don't make sound marriage decisions though in terms of choosing a partner. My parents divorced after 14 years and now that I'm in my mid-20's I honestly have no idea why the hell they chose each other to begin with... they were nothing like each other and it still aren't. There are happily married people in the world though.

Point taken and maybe, but maybe not. Kids are kids, they aren't the most abstract thinkers or most intelligent beings. I don't think it matters if it's hyped up to an incredible extent or not, 1 in 20 is even too high of a number in my opinion. Also, these workshops are for victim prevention as opposed to preaching that it is wrong to people in hopes it will change their mind. It's more like a workshop for store owners to help cut down on theft, which do exist and do produce positive outcomes.
