Does anyone know how to tame thin hair with cowlicks? Because I have no idea what I'm doing. I have long (like past boob length) hair that I love, but unfortunately just by virtue of genetics it's very fine and light and somewhat sparse. Throw a bunch of cowlicks into the mess and it's just a nightmare. Since it's so fine it doesn't have the weight to combat the cowlicks on my crown and instead I'm left with what almost look like bald spots. Halp.

Personally I see where you're coming from. While your SO's concerns are very much based on reality, from what you said they don't appear to be based on the reality of your relationship. He instead is basing it on the tales of others (which, while valid and true, are OTHERS). It's fine for him to have those beliefs, but it's also completely fine for you to want marriage. You've come this far in the relationship under the belief of "yes, we trust each other and are planning on building a shared li…

I have similar feelings about online dating but I've always been super shy (like PAINFULLY shy), so I've been finding being social in public a huge challenge. Any tips anyone can share would be incredibly helpful!

This boy is definitely not captain material. He's lying to you and cheating on you and risking your health. You are worth more than this. It's time to let him go so you can work on bettering yourself.

OP mentions her impression of RPW is a place that advocates being feminine without putting women down but prefaces it by doing just that to herself and to others in the same boat. Yes, perhaps it was a joke, but respectfully I disagree with that comment. Yes, I have a long way to go. But it's comments like those, even in jest, that can scare off those trying to better themselves.

I'm 32 (I know, I'm over the hill and should probably kill myself) As a 32 yo single female myself who is adopting redpill ideals and searching for love, I honestly am taken aback by this comment. I know it exists on the TRP subreddit, but to see it here in a supposedly safe space for us to better ourselves is very distasteful.

Whole30 is basically a clean-eating elimination diet that's designed to help you break your addiction to sugar, processed food, etc. It cuts you off from sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes and basically anything fake for 30 days so that you can then slowly add them back in and see if your body reacts negatively to any of them. It's not specifically designed as a weight loss plan, but something like 95% of people who complete the full 30 days lose weight. It also makes you lose any bloating you migh…

Lurker here. I'm 32 and single and hoping (praying!) I'll find a good captain. Never married, only one previous relationship which lasted 11 years and ended about a year and a half ago (long story short, I'm the marriage/family type and despite saying he was too, he wasn't... spent a long time treating me badly because he wanted ME to end it since he wasn't brave enough to) and I'm currently in monk mode, working on figuring out who I am/what I'm looking for in a man (honesty is now absolute par…

Periods while on the pill are very different from natural ones. In fact the whole cycle is different especially the hormone fluctuations and emotional changes. On the pill the hormones/emotions are very much muted. Off, it's like a roller coaster. I know for me, the week leading up to the start of my period is like nails on a chalkboard. Everything is irritating and everything everyone does is somehow wrong in my eyes. Thank goodness for the tracking apps. Now I know that those feelings are 100%…

My upbringing was interesting since my mom was a SAHM and my dad was a breadwinner but she didn't (and still doesn't) defer to him AT ALL. It's quite maddening, actually. He takes care of everything, provides for her and us and yet she's constantly tearing him down and acting like he's a child who doesn't know anything. It drives me crazy. I've learned a lot about how NOT to treat my someday-hubby from her.

Like I said, I may not have a popular opinion. That's just what I would do. They're being offensive. The next person who comes along might not be as nice as OP. They might report them straight to HR for their behaviour.

I'm a lurker and this may be an unpopular opinion, given the other comments, but since you want to treat this in a RPW manner, that's exactly what I would do, especially since I can tell this talk is really bothering you. In this scenario your boss is your captain, come to him respectfully (and possibly even demurely) with your problem but not your solution. It's his job to handle problems like this, not yours. Someone posted recently that part of being a redpillwoman is working things out with …
