It's hard for me, an American, to imagine a branch of military drop "basic" to adopt this kind of training. As far as I'm aware, most branches have the split standards between men and women at basic and some just lowered the standard. Sure, but there still needs to be a baseline, standard test. Sure, but the point of these tests are to show that the individuals have a baseline physicality that'll be useful in the field or elsewhere. They require specific physical training and testing in NAUI scuba for dive masters and rescue divers. It's all necessary for the experiences they'll have in the field. Also, not the greatest idea to leave off of at the end. I read that as ">95% of deaths are male so we need more women in the army so they can die to then lower the percentage of male deaths."	/r/MensRights	23/06/19 12:07 PM

They didn't even have intercourse, but since she was not happy he rejected her and only made out with her, she accused him of rape, video evidence suggested that she was grabbing him to dance floor and he was pulling back I agree that bruises alone don't provide evidence for this case, but pictures of her bruises were part of her rape kit/exam that was then accepted as evidence during the trial. So yes, it is relevant to this case. I'm not arguing that it's right, especially when the surveillance footage seems to be more damning against her, that the bruises were added. Also, 12 years is a lot, but it is the absolute minimum time for this offense in this particular state (sad regardless). The guy's attorney tried to lower it relentlessly due to the fact that they only have bruising to corroborate her claim while rape kits found not seminal fluid from him. All around fucked up.
