Im 19 and desperately want this lol. But not married yet, our home is a studio layout, and my bf doesnt have his career yet. Someday🙃

I agree. We talk so much about respecting men but it seems disrespectful to assume they have no self control or higher purpose beyond sex and reproduction

Fr. Weve been abstaining for months now (i became religious only recently) and the only mess-up was a particularly wild ovulation week LMAO. And hes fine with it. I mean obviously we both struggle with it sometimes but its for a bigger goal. Plus i think we may get married soonish anyway 😋

I disagree with the other comment, relationships shouldnt be you busting your ass just so he doesnt leave you as if thats the default. There are good men out there who have morals and arent smooth brained gorillas taking orders from their dicks. Id much rather my life be “im gonna take care of myself to keep things fun with my husband, and take care of our kids and keep the house clean and food on the table because thats what i enjoy doing and thats what im good at, and he works to allow us to h…

Im the same way, atp i just let them think im a quiet person and move on with my life. I am not a social person and avoid any family gathering if i can, even my own family. If i dont have to go, i wont. I try to listen but literally nothing comes to my head to reply with so then i just smile and nod, its literally fucking painful. Idk how u fix it so ill let other commenters give you advice, but just commenting so you know youre not alone lol

I promise you. It is not unrealistic to expect the man you are dating/married to, to not consume pornography. Men are visual, sure, but thats why I wear his favorite underwear to bed and take my bra off when we get home 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️ Eta: but even if i didnt do all that, he controls himself bc hes a civilized grown adult man not a 14 year old oogling at animated boobs on pornhub all day Also as far as variety goes, mix it up in the bedroom with stuff you do, but that doesnt mean he needs other women …

Is he paying for it? Im a little confused on what the business is so the situation isnt making much sense to me. The only issue id have is if it was affecting yalls money. But this also depends if yall are married or not bc most ppl dont combine finances till marriage

I think there has to be some form of self destructive pattern and they just blow up the relationship by cheating because for whatever reason they think it wont work, theyll get hurt, theyre not adequate enough, whatever the reason may be

Stop watching whatever youre watching online. The world is not black and white. You could say we are animals and our only purpose is to reproduce but thats simply not true. If you believe in God like I do, you believe humans have inherent value. We are here to serve God. We all have a purpose beyond ourselves. We also are called to do things for our community: become a doctor, be a barista and give someone their coffee since were all addicted lol, create art. We raise children to be the next gen…

Why do you get angry with him? Something i keep seeing in this sub is girls leaning so hard into submission they cant see when a man is mistreating them. If he constantly makes you angry, maybe thats something to really think about. Other than that, i would just stop taking online red pill content as the end all be all. The world is nuanced, and adults are aware of that. I was promiscuous when i was younger because, shocker, i was young! Im not gonna blame myself for the decisions i made then, w…

I dont make a point about it but if someone asks I will tell them and if someones trying to justify their partners actions that are clearly hurting them, i say it just to show that there are good men out there. Also were Christian so heres a big one: “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” Idk if you think there’s just no man out there that genuinely has no interest in other women when hes committed to one but…

Idk you personally ofc but in the situation u mentioned, sounds a lot like what ppl with BPD do- threaten them to leave then beg them to stay. I had to leave that subreddit bc it was so frustrating how many of those people were in abusive relationships and had convinced themselves they were the problem

Bruh lol. “So trashy when im tickling you and your only ability to make it stop is to hit me” laughing is a natural response to tickling its hard to stop it. I hit my bf if he does it too, or i dig my nails into him because i cant speak words to make it stop. We never tickle each other longer than a poke or whatever. And he knows bc ive stated explicitly - “if you tickle me i will hurt you and i cannot help it”. Hes nearly 200lbs he deadlifts 405, im 100lbs and have sticks for limbs. If i didnt …

I genuinely dont think he respects you enough to want you to do well in school. This is him making you pay to be his maid. What are you gaining from the relationship? I happily did majority of housework and tried to do a good bit of cooking when i was only doing school (i do online classes and the ones at that time were very easy courses) but i am in harder courses now that take up a lot of time, and im working 20-30 hours a week. Aside from the sex, i couldve written this post myself. Youre spot on with it. Say thank you for any little thing, hype him up, be appreciative. Let him spoil you if he wants to spoil you. Let him open your door, take your bags. (Sex thing is different for us due to religion. Abstaining until marriage currently although we werent for the first 1.5yrs of our relationship - i wasnt yet into religion at the time). I will say one thing i struggle with is routine of self care. Im terrible at it. And …

Personally im like that and when my bf tries to talk or get close to me or try to resolve the issue it makes it much worse and i lash out more. Its hard to put words to how i feel so its just a lot of tension building up from wanting to be left alone but not being able to say it, so when i finally do, its in a mean tone. Ask your boyfriend when he is in his happier mood, how he wants you to respond to that 5% time. If he says he wants to be left alone, please respect that. Its not about you. We …

Yeah haha. To further it, ive found myself relating to some autism traits but ofc ive never been assessed and dont see a need to spend the money on an assessment bc i work fine and do school fine. But one thing i found when researching it a while back, was that i tend to not feel compelled to show affection all that often. I hardly initiate hugs or kisses bc it just doesnt occur to me to do so. Telling this to my partner helped him understand that it was just an intrinsic trait of mine, and not …

Anyone in comments pls feel free to correct me bc i may be wrong here. But i truly feel like this is just him having a slightly skewed idea of what femininity is. I guarantee if you were crying every day he would find that annoying and childish. You also mentioned youre on the autism spectrum, so this doesnt sound at all out of character for an individual with autism. I would mention the autism thing to him and maybe send over some material (videos on youtube) about how autistic people express e…

I am in this exact scenario. We just recently decided to start abstaining 2 years into the relationship. Waiting till marriage together now. For context we are both religious and i just recently got back into it and was atheist for a long time. So now i want to abstain until marriage and he agreed. So far its actually rly improved our relationship and made things more fun and brought back a better connection! Going out to lunch in a few minutes actually. Ppl act like its crazy hard to find a man…

I wouldnt pick it up and go through it but like to change the music in the car, i grab his phone and just change the music. If he were to act defensive at me even picking up his phone to change the music, id be suspicious of that. But going through someones phone is invasive. Its not just your privacy, it’s your friends and family who share private information over text or DMs, and expect it to remain private

Thats fair. I understand wanting to look your best. I guess my concern would be if my boyfriend left me so suddenly based on my looks, before even asking me “is everything okay?” Or just having an open discussion directed towards fixing the problem at hand (in your case the depression). Eta: btw if you think its right to go back, by all means do so!! Trust your gut, but also know your worth. You know this guy better than any of us, you can read him and his intentions better than any of us can

Well looking at the facts… he fell in love with you the way you were you went through difficult times and gained weight he jumped ship the second u started struggling you got better on your own now he wants you because you look how you did when yall originally started dating If this were me, i would seriously consider how easy it is for him to leave the relationship when things get hard. Especially if you get married someday. Its also kinda a low blow like “youre only attractive at this weight” …

Dont be discouraged if things get a little worse for a few days while your body adjusts to going without cleanser. But it shouldnt be more than a week id imagine before you notice results - good or bad. I think visiting your doctor is definitely a good idea. I used to wash with gentle white unscented soap and would smell fine for a couple hours at most, then get an odor. Also a ton of discharge. Ive stopped using soap down there entirely and just use water. No odor (im not very active physically so im sure if i ran a marathon i may be a little musty), even after a day or so. Also much less discharge overall. I still bleach my underwear occasionally and i do have a fair amount of discharge. But its wayyyy less than before. I do get more discharge if …

Youre here to make a life for yourself not to appease men that you arent committed to. I understand some ppl arent for waiting till marriage but the way i see it is this: Until your wedding night, consider this man could leave you at any minute and then youve given yourself away for absolutely no reason and been used. Im not a virgin but plan to not have sex till marriage going forward because why continue to degrade myself when i could simply wait and have sex with the man im married to and spe…

I dont see why he couldnt just pretend or listen along anyway? I listen to my boyfriend talk about warhammer and genuinely try to listen and participate in his interests. I couldnt care less about warhammer but ill sit and listen to his talks without complaint. I dont see why her bf couldnt do the same for her. Its a chance to connect. Its like saying “oh look at that bird” and your partner just ignores you. They couldve taken that chance to share a moment and chose not to for no reason. It take…

Honestly i had a sort of situation similar but not really. Essentially had cleared up conflict with a guy i had a history with (not physical). People have different values. Some dont value health in a partner. Some dont value loyalty or longevity of the relationship. Don't be like those people. Find someone worth spending your life with and don't compare your journey with people who aren't valuing themselves the way you do.

I’m biased because i strongly believe in monogamy and although im not religious (cant fully get myself there), i do agree with a lot of the Bible. I think sex is too intimate and special to invite another in. I also think most of the time it can severely hurt the relationship ETA: not to mention, the honeymoon of all times? That’s for you and your husband, nobody else And as far as the attraction to women, i get it but the way i see it; i chose the man i am with now and he gets my complete and u…

Its better to build together than to build alone and be mad that you have to share what you built with someone else. Idk why hed want to buy a house alone unless hes trying to protect himself and doesnt see things working out. Im young tho so maybe i dont fully understand that

Youre not dumb I’m terrified of the same thing if my boyfriend and i ever break up. You could always focus on school and friendships, and not go out looking for a date. And if someone comes along, you can see how it goes. Honestly i personally would not expect much good to come from looking for a LTR in college in this current society Eta: LTR with a fellow student in college**

Engagement is too binding but a house isnt? Eta: every relationship is different of course, but im just shy of 2 years into my current relationship. We live together and are both fully aware that the intent is to get married whenever we have the funds to.
